      Hi folks,
I have a copy of an SJCam that I intend on using to start some Moto VLogging in Bangalore. Could anyone suggest any stores in Bangalore from where I could procure some good quality sticky mounts without having to lose too much cash? :P

Would recommend getting mounts from the official SJCam India website or from Amazon.
They are pretty reasonable compared to GoPro mounts. And you would get it within a week.

If you still want cheaper equipment then you can try AliExpress. But the products would easily take a month to reach you.

Amazon sounds good. With the 60-day free Prime trial, I'm all game to order from there! 😜
Shall check out the SJCam website too.

I was also considering getting a decent cam in the 6-8k INR price bracket, in a month or two. It's a rather low budget, I know. But since I'm just doing this for the fun of it, and don't intend on making a living out of it, I can't splurge on a GoPro. Even high-end SJCams are outta my budget. All I'm left with is the Xiaomi Yi which apparently is a bang for the buck. But then, what about service-related issues? This stuff bothers me. Please advise!

I have a Mi Yi. Works pretty good except the sound part - you can't connect an external mic. The video is on point though.

I got my camera from ebay, mounts and extra batteries plus charger from ebay, some more mounts and a waterproof case from aliexpress(if you can wait).

            Camera - 6k
Waterproof case and mounts - 1k
            2 extra batteries with charger - 1k

No issues from any of the stuff definitely a bang for the buck.

That sounds nice! Just to be on the safer side, in case I face any issues with the cam, say it needs repair under warranty or otherwise, whom can I bother?

I have cramster tundra. I have ridden to the hills in winter. It's okay for cold protection. Please don't expect your fingers to be warm. It saves them from the excess chill. The other thing is the gloves are huge and you would find that you loose feel and Feedback from the handle. They are water resistant and not waterproof. The July while riding back from mana it started pouring and the water seeped in within an hour. Last but not the least you have to be careful when you are taking off the gloves. If you accidentally pull out the liners it is a pain putting them back in.

I have been using this jacket for more than a year, good jacket for the price. There is v2 of this jacket with sas-tech armour which is better than on the v1 jackets. It's priced at ₹6, 999.

Congrats for the jacket. Ride safe.

                          Hello Guys,
I am keen to buy a new jacket within few days. I am from Kolkata and basically a city rider with frequent rides to outskirts on weekends. I have plans to make some few trips in the coming months to places like Bhutan, Orissa, Jharkand etc and ladakh may be next year.
My budget is tight on Rs. 5000/- so after few reviews and researches I decided to get myself to a DSG Evo Jacket. It fulfills all my basic needs.
My actual concern is that it is not available anywhere near my place so I will have to rely totally on online shopping this time.
So, from which website will be feasible( in case of any return or replacement)??
What do you call a Biker who doesn't wear a helmet? An organ donor.

If I may suggest you, please don't go for DSG Evo. I have personally seen the jacket while buying mine and it's kinda okay sort of jacket. Besides many users have reported quality issues and pathetic after sales service from DSG. So if you are from Pune then it's okay. Otherwise you will have tough time chasing them for support.

Your budget is tight as you said, but if you can extend it a little bit, you can get Rynox Air GT or Solace Sprint (if I remember the model name correctly) for less than 6k. Both are nice and well made jackets and have positive reviews from users. Also after sales service is good by Rynox.

Also if possible, personally try the jacket before buying.

                            Hope this helps.

Thank you for your concern brother but actually I checked the jacket in hand myself as two riders from my group owns the same. They had no issue with the quality(but that depends on LUCK i guess). Still, currently I am out of option. So I had to finalize this as I think I can take care of the problem of torn out or stitching problem myself.
Now lets hope for the better.

Check out the Rynox Shield Pro gloves as well 2450/- (in your budget). Come with all lather and some mesh inserts on the knuckle side for ventilation and very comfortable.
