Yeah, that's the only viable option seems.

BTW I feel my sprint jacket is around 2Kg or more, not worried for shorter visits but for longer where I have to walk for quite distance :sly:

I guess burning calories will keep motivating

    Thanks

Orazo coot vs other safety Boots.

which one is better. Below are the link to both shoes.

          Orazo http://www.orazosafety.com/index.php/product/coot/

          JCB Safety BOOT http://www.jcbfootwear.in/excavator-detail.html

IMO JCB is better than coot, but Orazo has better boot in higher range.
BTW I checked many safety boots on net most of them are more promising than coot.

I have ordered one JCB , what do you guys think.

          Cheers

            • Need Help in buying Gears..

Hi Guys, This is the second thread I am starting here.. after getting a very nice response from the first thread after which I ended up gettin myself a ride.. Got a Mahindra MOJO (April'16, done 7.5K kms on it).

So lets get to the main point here. I need gears.. like gloves mainly. I already have a jacket from Mahindra. But suggestions for jackets also welcome..

Budget for gloves 2.5-3.5K (full Gauntlet preferable)
              Budget for Jacket 6-7K

Riding Boots are also good protection soo I am not sure I'll buy them or not. but anything is welcome. aur kuch nahi to knowledge hi ajaegi (knowledge is power).

              Thanks in advance Amigos..

Hoping for the same response I got last time..

              Ride Safe, Ride Long.

I had gone to their factory and tried on the coot myself. Ended up booking a pair as they had a discount scheme going on. The boots seemed comfortable and have good features.

I wouldn't go by what other companies 'claim' to offer in terms of boots. I used to wear an armstrong boot which I bought before as I found it cheaper than the orazo picus and offering about the same features. they didn't even last me 7 months. I decided to go for Orazo this time because of the reviews I got from some of my friends who have been using them for quite a few years and the ones that I saw on various forums.

Anyways, i was checking out the JCB boots. Are they waterproof? It didn't mention anything on the link.

No they are not water proof, but someone in RTR whatsapp group and on net said, they are built for rough use, so they can withstand with abuse.

JCB boot having pure leather and good sole for their specific purpose with good padding near ankle area, I felt JCB is good, even in look too.

I have ordered for same price what coot is being offered after discount.

BTW, did you have any difficulties in gear shifting as coot and safety shoes are not very streamlined in toe area and feel bulky.

But wouldn't the JCB boots create a problem during the rainy season if they are not protected from water?

I was wearing the armstrong boots before these. Hence, I am used to gear shifting with steel toe. However, I didn't face too much of a problem even when i initially wore the armstrong boots. The best thing I liked about the coot was that it was quite light. I was planning to go for the picus but I though I will try these out first and then switch after a year or so.

JCB arrived :what: (in one day).

I am using first time, haven't ridden the bike with boot yet, but boot seems bulky but comfortable . grip is good ,not too heavy but heavier then normal leather or sneakers.

Rain will cause problem obviously as no water proof but I am expecting it can last for at least one year or more (how many trip I will do in rain ) .

                        here is the pic .

Hi guys. Let me start off by apologizing for any mistakes in the post. I am relatively new. Now that the disclaimer part is out of the way, can someone please tell me where i can get a studds shifter in medium size in pune? Graphics don't matter to me. I have already tried a large size and it is loose enough to warrant a medium-only purchase. No website seems to be carrying it, nor does any brick and mortar shop. Although i did only visit a couple (pro biker and funky's on mg road) due to lack of knowledge of helmet shops in pune. So if someone could direct me to the same it would be a huge help, thanks.
PS: i went through the thread and someone asked the same question. He was directed to aatomato.com but the website doesn't seem to be working. It just wouldn't checkout and now it doesn't seem to be loading. A brick and mortar suggestion would be appreciated.
