His attitude is like that, you have to go prepared for what you want or he's gonna push you to get what he wants. Tornado pro does come with back Armour that too level 2 so don't worry about that.Originally posted by Aakash Singh View Post

Tornado Pro doesn't come with a level 2 back armour, it's a foam only. I don't know where you read this wrong information.Originally posted by VivekRj.Dieselhead View PostHis attitude is like that, you have to go prepared for what you want or he's gonna push you to get what he wants. I know buddy that you have got absolute knowledge about everything on this planet but please don't tell me what I have and what I know about my things as I clearly mentioned in my earlier post that I got tornado pro and using it since a year.Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostTornado Pro doesn't come with a level 2 back armour, it's a foam only. You are still spreading wrong information. It has got a foam on back. I will let the buyer or anyone for that check it himself.Originally posted by VivekRj.Dieselhead View PostI know buddy that you have got absolute knowledge about everything on this planet but please don't tell me what I have and what I know about my things as I clearly mentioned in my earlier post that I got tornado pro and using it since a year.

And I also expect maturity and knowledge from you instead of misguiding on a forum.
The jacket gets Knox Level 1 or 2 protectors (Flexiform or Microlock) depending on the variant, only on arms. The level 1 is black coloured, Level 2 is yellow neon.
The protectors are good quality and very reliable without a doubt. The back is a foam sheet.
The jacket is good overall.
Cheers !Last edited by MidnightEvil Parth; 10-06-2018, 10:37 PM.

It is a piece of foam brother. Thanks for proving it.Originally posted by VivekRj.Dieselhead View PostYeah it's not Knox and level 2, but doesn't surely look like foam to me.
Get a back protector yourself too sir. Ride safe.

You could be right but it doesn't feel like foam to me, it's pretty hard.Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostIt is a piece of foam brother. Thanks for proving it.

Foam can be hard sir. It's a placeholder for the future armours you buy. It is meant to keep that place in shape and that's about it.Originally posted by VivekRj.Dieselhead View PostYou could be right but it doesn't feel like foam to me, it's pretty hard.
Now I hope you soon buy one.
and contrary to popular belief, armour is softer than foam, much softer, flexible and body moulding.
Hard foam is, well, hard foam.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
I was anyways thinking to upgrade in the beginning but later starting to complete gear before upgrading the armors.
Wanted to get gloves but couldn't finalise any of them till now cause I find none of them to be water proof.
Shoes are now in the list after doing a 1200 kms ride comprising of 800 kms of rains. But again I need waterproof shoes, alpinestars are on the list but not sure about them.
Again Riding pant from rynox is almost finalized and would go for that before my next ride.Originally posted by MidnightEvil Parth View PostFoam can be hard sir. It's a placeholder for the future armours you buy. It is meant to keep that place in shape and that's about it.

Raida RainX, Solace Striker, Shima D tour WP - all are great options. These are what are groups have been using, and myself too.
Shoes - Shima Strada, Shima RSX-5, Solace Threshold - all are waterproof.
Pants - Rynox is fine, I use Solace coolmesh, bought it due to level 2 armours, that too branded ones.
And yes Storm gets level 2 on back.

Alpinestars Celer v2 Gloves
Recently, I ordered Alpinestars Celer v2 Gloves [$ 99.95] with RevZilla and got them shipped to my son at Round Rock, TX, USA as my Cramster gloves got worn out at many places. Today, he brought them to Bangalore. I measure 8.5" and large as per the size chart. But, sitting in Bangalore, I ordered XL as I did not want to take any chance. I am relieved to note that it fits like a glove! I am yet to wear it for a long ride. I will add more after that.

Re: Alpinestars Celer v2 Gloves
I am using the same gloves which I had purchased recently from DSG mumbai, for 6K (MRP 8k, they had 25% off). I am very much satisfied with the product. ***Note - (for those who wants to purchase this) order a size up for the better fitmentOriginally posted by J.Ravi View PostRecently, I ordered Alpinestars Celer v2 Gloves [$ 99.95] with RevZilla and got them shipped to my son at Round Rock, TX, USA as my Cramster gloves got worn out at many places.
