Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Raida RainX is made from leather, has a waterproof lining and a insulate lining too. This should do the job.Originally posted by hamadryad View PostThat's a really good tip about the 0° under gloves, I'll get a pair.
One more question though, if I increase the budget a bit, can I get something which is made of leather and offers the same functionality in winters. The temperature hardly goes below 5 degrees where I live and I was looking to get a single pair of gloves which can get the job done. Something from DSG for example?

Solace defender plus in textile.Originally posted by jatinpatel8 View PostHi all..in market for a riding jacket. Budget is around 7-8k.
Can anyone suggest a good riding jacket?
Thanks in advance!
Raida tourbine in mesh.
Rynox Tornado pro in mesh.
Whichever you buy, invest in a good back protector later.
Hope this helps.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Check gloves like Cramster TRG2, TBG Sport gloves, Rynox pro or Solace Racepro.Originally posted by Sarvajit View PostIt's time to replace my BBG full gauntlet gloves so please pour in your suggestions.
Requirement: Better reinforcement at palm area.

All of these should have sliders on palm.
But regarding better reinforcement at the place where it is torn, the gloves are made so to get a better grip on the handlebars.
There is nothing much you can do about it, thats just normal ageing.

Almost everything about this jacket is premium.[emoji4]
Congratulation on you purchase. Good choice. Having been using this one since a very long time and I have only one word for it - Brilliant !

Good thing, ride safe and get a back protector too.Originally posted by jatinpatel8 View PostThank you so much for all your help. Ended up buying Rynox Tornado Pro.

Replace the foam provided with jacket ASAP as per my recommendation.
You can replace it with powertector sold by Rynox or sas-tec sold by solace. Good luck. Both fit well.

Re: Universal : Riding Gear Thread
Don’t worry about it. SBS is again a very reknowned company, hut that ykk is more famous.Originally posted by jatinpatel8 View PostThanks!!
Strangely though..the zippers are not YKK. They are SBS.
But yes, as Midnightevil suggested do replace the back protector with a CE certified one. That’s more important.
You can make a pick from whichever you want.

If you need full / semi, you will have to extend the budget. Solace Bravo is a good and affordable option at 3k. Good luck.Originally posted by Zapps View PostGuys need recommendation for full or semi gauntlet gloves @2-2.5k. I have bigger palm, normal fingers.

Considering the extra cost, don't you think STORM EVO L2 is better choice as a jacket, especially it comes with Back Protection??

Same can be used as a tail bag, but what size of a tail bag are you looking for ?
