Hi Guys..
I met Mr. Bhavishya Devgun of Raw Adventures personally. He was in Cochin today. He had some samples of Scoyco products with him. First of all that guy is awesome. A passionate young rider like all of us and had a ride to Ladakh last month after the floods hit. He let me try all the products he had with him.
Then about the products... and to be frank.. They are really good and more over they are great value for money. Personally i like the JK-17 jacket. For just 3500 bucks it is a steal...Man.. I swear... You can go for one with your eyes closed. One of our member has posted a detailed review about that. That guy is absolutely right. But be sure about your sizes coz the jacket is snug fit. I am using DSG Nero for last 2 months. The stitching quality of Nero is very poor.( May be the jacket which i got only has this problem). The protectors are top notch. much padding inside the protectors are large compared to others and very very light weight. The inner mesh lining is far better than DSG and the stitching is very good too.
The other jacket he had with him was JK 27. The price was 5999. That is a pure tourer like Cramster K2K. In my opinion, that jacket would cost for 8000 at least if that was in another brands, which is an all weather jacket with 8 pockets. One thing which i like in that jacket was the large rear pocket. A large one which is approx quarter the size of a tank bag!!!. But he problem is, we have to remove the jacket to take stuffs from that, but i eliminates the use of a tail bag.
Then another 100% water proof Jacket fully made of nylon. I don't remember it's model no. and price. I think it is about 5-6K. Pardon me if i am wrong. I didn't go through it coz i wasn't much interested in that. It doesn't have any air vents and focused on rain proof feature only. By closer inspection i came to know there is no mesh lining too. Inner lining also made of nylon material which does not allow a single drop of water to enter. It is short sports type and looks good too. I live in south and no use of it here. I will be grilled if i wear here. But will worth in rainy season.
There was some street riding gloves which costs around 1100 looks like Probiker ones. But the padding in the palm area is much thicker. I didn't go through gloves much. Bhavishya showed me some pictures of gloves which is yet to come. Full gauntlet ones. Looks like replica of A*. He told the price will be in 2-3K range !!!
Then the other was a Motocross riding pant. The model was P012. It is much loose in thigh area to use knee guards inside and when it comes down it is some what fit to go under the boots. Though the quality and the looks are good, i didn't like the shape. They Have another touring/street riding trousers which is comfort fit like ordinary pants. They haven't mentioned in their site, but it is in Scoyco's web site. The model is P017. I like the looks and ordered one. He said they are out of stock and the new stock will come by the 2nd week this month. I will post a detailed review once i get that.
These all are my words about the encounter with Scoyco products today. Although I am about to get a Speed and Strength- Twist of Fate mesh jacket recently. Otherwise i would have ordered one JK-17. I've mentioned this jacket a lot here. Because we get such a good quality product in such a competitive price. All you budding riders.. In my opinion, this is the Jacket you should begin with. I belong to a middle class family and i am not interested in burning my hard earned money. That is why i speak like this.
Ride safe guys..If you need a reason to ride, you are not on the right bike.

hey friends,
i(not me actually, my friend) want to buy some gears for me which will be used mostly for stunting or stunt learning purposes and the budget is approximately 8K INR. The required gears are an ARMOURED JACKET, GLOVES and KNEE PADS (already got a VEGA helmet). Height- 5'6" weight- 65kg.
The budget can be extended till 8.5-9K, if found worthy.
Please suggest me some brands and models which will suit the need.Join my facebook Page: Life On 2-Wheels | Blog: Life On 2-Wheels

Not at all...neither for the NERO nor Rjays...Originally posted by neil.jericho View PostIf youre saying that the armour at the elbow will move because of the open zip & velcro, then I wouldnt really agree with you. It could vary from jacket to jacket depending on the design & material used but for the Nero I would say that it doenst make it a safety risk. I could be wrong though. Thoughts anyone ?
Mysore !Originally posted by pawanpandit View Posthey i got those guards and helmet from a shop in 100feet road in mysore
Armour isnt bad but you'l boil inside despite removing the liner...opening all vents...and mind you..they may mention its water repellent...but its not...Originally posted by kinshuk.arya View Posthey guys any review about the DSG's Falcon Jacket???
how is the armor on that one?? and is it water resistant??A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

MY Opinion is you should go for SCOYCO JK-17 which is the best VFM. You can get that from Raw Adventures. and for gloves go for TRG 2 from cramster.. If you wait a little you will get a good quality Gloves from Raw adventures for around 2-3K. the quality is top notch and resembles with A8. I've seen that in real.. that is why i am telling like this. YOu can get scoyco knee guards too from raw adventures.
go to this Raw Adventures - adventure in its purest formIf you need a reason to ride, you are not on the right bike.

I will be ordering Joe Rocket Sonic Boots over the weekend.
I mostly will order from Riders Discount since the top rated sellers (for these boots in my size) dont ship to India.
If anyone from bangalore needs anything from riders discount, please let me know so I can order it as well. We can share the shipping cost. The shipping cost is a flat 25 USD charge for all orders. (we can club the orders together to save shipping costs).
See the below links.

Couple of posts back has inspired me to add my perspective on proper fitting of riding gears.
My observation is that many people tend to wear riding jackets on the loose side. Not loose if you compare it to normal jackets, and perhaps this is where the problem lies. My cousin got his riding gears from London. He told me that the store person gave him smaller size than the one he wanted, educating my cousin in the process how riding gears should fit. We tend to see size in term of other ordinary jackets we would normally purchase. To begin with, Jackets has to fit snugly and hold the armour in place firmly and they should have some sort of mechanism to make finer adjustment. otherwise it will fail to serve its purpose.
Here in Mumbai, I had quiet the opposite suggestion vis-avis my cousin in London. The store person suggested size 'M', which I wouldn't have any issue had it been an ordinary jacket. I tried size 'S' and decided this was perfect for riding jacket. Of course since I'm paying, the store keeper agreed 100%.
Jackets size will slightly vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and the 'cuts' and design. Y'know like broad, slim etc. So its best to try them on first.
Btw to give some perspective.
I'm 5'7 and 63kgs and jacket is Rjays ocyane size is 'small'. I would suggest similarly built people to go in for small too.
