        • i will suggest you check out ICON FIELD ARMOUR KNEE/SHIN GAURDS, though these are not available in india, you can get them from online stores at 60 dollars. benifit, covers entire shin from knee to ankle, so compete protection. slim design, so can be worn inside jeans/trousers.

DSG nero is water resistant not water proof, All rjays jackets are waterproof. If you can extend your jacket budget by 2k you can buy Rjay octane, really good jacket. I'm not so sure about waterproof gloves.
I would rather be riding my bike thinking of God, than sitting in the temple thinking of my bike.

Among the DSG & Cramster offerings (not sure about the latest Cramster jackets though) the Nero is the most water resistant. I havent faced any issues of getting wet in the rain while wearing my Nero. I dont need to use a raincoat over the Nero like what some others do with other jackets.

Saw the RJays jackets recently. Fit and finish seems good and armour seems to be at par with the DSG offerings. Not sure if the premium it commands is worth it. Thats my take.

@ Titanic4U - Search this thread for reviews of the Nero. Its quite popular and for a reason.

Nero is waterproof. Previous Phoenix series were water-resistant.

Our supplies for Nero were delayed and you can pick one only after 12th April. Current stocks available in Medium & 3XL only

What about maze? Is that water-proof? How is it different from the nero apart from styling?

                              • Maze is a summer jacket with excessive ventilation. Being all mesh & leather, it's not waterproof though with inner lining, it can be used in winters. Nero is a all weather jacket & you'll feel hot during summers in Nero as compared to Maze
