  • Hi all, need some urgent help. Am planning to purchase a decent set of riding gear and need your valuable inputs. i was actually zeroed to scoyco JK17 and K11 protectors + dsg revive Gloves but the problem is that am unable to reach Mr Bhavishya Devgun. i tried contacting him via Facebook but no use( i think he is busy with one India ride). I guess he is the only one who deals with scoyco products in India. correct me if am wrong.

Now am running short of time, so can anyone suggest me a good set of riding gears(jacket+gloves+ knee guard) my budget is 9k and that is the maximum.....

    thanks.

        • Scoyco MC-10

MC10 is a kind of gloves suitable for everyday street riding. There is protective solid black composite soft knucle on it, sandwich mesh back of the hand makes it breathable. There is synthetic leather and cotton on the palm, making it solid and durable. MC10 has a perfect texture and beautiful look as well. It's a very good equipment for daily riding.looks killer(bionic type).Rode 7km after buying it,every word above is true.and when you will grip your bike handle the half shown scoyco logo in the last pic comes out(liked the concept).sorry for bad pic quality taken with mobile i misplaced my cam.

Dude, Have you checked MC09 ?
Its little better than MC10 and just 150 bucks more .The specs are similar but unlike MC10 it had carbon fibre protection and elastic lycra in between fingures!!! I am using it from last 5k kms.

MC09 is certainly better than mc10 in terms of safety.I have a hard knuckled probiker-mcs01 thats why I went for this soft compound knuckled mc10 and loving every bit of it.

              • guys, i just checked www.rawadventures.co.in an www.adventureontherocks.com
                -------------------------------------

rawadventures looks too cheap to be original, what is your opinion on it, do they stock authentic and original stuff??

what do you think about JK-17 and JK-26 jackets, are their hard protectors CE approved, do they have a back protector, do they have a removable lining for rains and winter? i am asking these questions because i have seen cramster jackets and their hard protectors appear very flimsy to me. anybody using these jackets?

anybody using their riding pants P014 or P017?

anybody using MC-15B gloves, are they really waterproof?

on seeing their knee guards, i am seriously doubting their quality?
                ---------

adventureontherocks seems a bit better --

the racing raptor knee guards are available for Rs.1872. can we trust them to be original??anybody using these??

tents and sleeping bags also seems to be good, though i am not purchasing it now.

                ------

                ------------------------------------------------------------------
                • Cramster Breezer 4.0 ( Rs.5500) / DSG Nero (Rs. 5500) / Rjays Swift Jacket (Rs.6000) --- out of the these three jackets, which one is best. It is mentioned as DSG Nero is only water resistant whereas Rjays as water proof and cramster has additional linning for rains. cramster and Nero has additional insulation liner also. quality wise how do these fare?
                • Rjays H2O Boot- i have finalized.
                • Rjays Raincoat -finalized
                • Dainese knee guards and Alpinestar underwear thigh guard shorts --will get from US of A.
                • Rjays Tempest 2 / Tornado / H2O --which of the gloves is best. no other options as i want a water proof glove with rains coming soon.

                • answers in red!! hope it helps buddy...

                  guys, i just checked www.rawadventures.co.in an www.adventureontherocks.com
                  -------------------------------------

rawadventures looks too cheap to be original, what is your opinion on it, do they stock authentic and original stuff??
rawadventures keep the scoyco product...since these are chinese made...so chances are high that they will be originals!! ..

what do you think about JK-17 and JK-26 jackets, are their hard protectors CE approved, do they have a back protector, do they have a removable lining for rains and winter? i am asking these questions because i have seen cramster jackets and their hard protectors appear very flimsy to me. anybody using these jackets?
JK 17 and JK26 are good but they dont have a removable liner with it...whether the protectors are CE or not..i am not sure...yes..they are removable...there is a post in this thread where one guy has put the pics....if I find it i will give the link to you....
you are correct about cramster....it is flimsy and the seams are not well protected...I did check my friend's cramster but did not like the quality at all.

anybody using their riding pants P014 or P017?
No Clue on the riding pants..

anybody using MC-15B gloves, are they really waterproof?
MC15B is good but not very sure on the breath-ability or the palm protection...so again no clue..

on seeing their knee guards, i am seriously doubting their quality?
i read the reviews of scoyco k11 and the guy was very satisfied with it..i think i read it in xkmph forum...i have sent a query to rawadventures on k11...let's see....will keep you posted buddy!

exactly my question dude!!! i did send a mail to them and got a response that they keep only original and CE approved stuff. Also they will give an invoice for the same...their courier charges are quite high! 280 for Bangalore!!! ..AXO ones were coming upto 1900/-..but still i am not very confident about those...so asked them to send a pic of the same...waiting for their response...they also mentioned they have some FOX knee guards for just 1200 ..have asked for the model name for which they have to come back again!! ..let's see..

If anyone has bought from them....then pls post!!!!! ..thanks!

tents and sleeping bags also seems to be good, though i am not purchasing it now.

                  • Prince - Rawadventures is good stuff & more of pure VFM products. That much I can say. There're quite a few people using their products (Scoyco) and are happy with it.

                      Tachyon,

                      Very well pointed regarding sizes.
For this I will suggest all to read the User Reviews very carefully & in Detail.

I had spent the entire two days to read the product reviews by various persons around the globe in the respective product details.

Normally for all ALPINESTARS the sizing is almost similar across products.
Similarly for all SHIFT RACING or TEKNIC Products.
Likewise for all ICON or FIELDSHEER or SCORPION or JOE ROCKET.

What I have figured is Alpinestars are one of the most inconsistent in Sizing Department as per the reviews.
Though Product wise they are real top notch but definitely very pricey.

However the SHIFT Racing & TEKNIC are more accurate on sizing going by MINE & ESHAN's Feedback.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

I would have gone there and checked it out but i have absolutely no experience with gears and donno how to decide which is good/original

For instance...the AXO TMKP knee guards have a different pads (mesh with foam having holes) and only the middle strap has AXO written on them...whereas if you see the ones which are available normally on ebay and even at adventureontherock has AXO written on all the strips.....and pads are solid foam kind of...the site of AXO is http://www.axosport.com/en/products/...ee-guard/tmkp/
