exact location-if you are coming from malad side,keep a lookout for spectra maruti true value showroom to your right side after you cross the goregaon signal(showroom and goregaon signal would be about 3km apart).take a right after the showroom.After taking a right u will reach a tee section of the road,take a left and voila.Originally posted by masterminds View PostSocha Toh Locha.Comment

Desperatesly wants a Good Mech in Hyd !
Dear Friends,
Plz advice someone who can fix & tune p220 in Hyd, last week I'd got servicing done @ PBK but seems those guys are only good for washing & wiping purpose. I even filled MOTUL 300V & asked Srikanth to tune my bike properly as mileage was coming for 22kmpl and tappets & chain was making noise while on slow move.

Hey guys plz beware of the mechanic Robert mentioned here. I've known him for sometime now. I got to know him through a friend when I bought my Karizma 2 yrs back and I've had couple of very bad experiences with him. Initially he was very good to me. Didn't even charge me for minor work initially. Later on started showing his true colours. I left my bike with him for servicing once (this was the first time I actually left the bike with him. I used to always wait at his garage before this, sometimes even for 4-5 hrs). When I came to collect my bike in the evening he told me there was a problem with the carburettor and so he had replaced it with a new one. He charged me Rs 1500 for that, apart from servicing charges. B*****d didn't even bother to inform me when I had specifically told him to call me and inform before changing any parts. He removed my brand new carb, my bike had done less than 2000 kms at that time.. Later on I met one other person who had a similar experience with him. Robert had changed his engine block in a similar way and didn't even inform him he had done that. My friend found out much later. Basically, he takes out ur original bike parts and replaces them with duplicate/old ones. And unless you are really experienced with bikes, u won't be able to make out the difference that easily, and when you do find out, it will be too late. His servicing and knowledge is pretty good so u'll be happy with his work initially but it wont take him too long to rip u off... So plz beware of him guys. Take care and ride safe everyone. ^ The best way to avoid any such incident and shaking your pocket later its better to get your bike serviced in front of you. I stop mechanic then and there if they do anything on their own.Comment

Hello,
I need to get my Honda Activa serviced. Please suggest a good mechanic around Maratahalli Area. I hate to get it done from Authorized service stations, as they do a water wash and spark plug cleaning and call it service
With petrol rates increasing, the way my vehicle is drinking up the petrol I do not think I will be able to use it unless it is treated by a good doctor.

I have a 2010 Honda Stunner and I'm done with all the free services.
Now I'm looking for a good service center (need not be authorized) to get the bike serviced.
Can anyone tell me where in Mumbai can I find a good mechanic preferably around Borivali/Kandivali ?
I have gone through all posts in this thread and know about Reddy's in Goregaon but someone said that he is a Bajaj specialist.
Does he also service Honda bikes and is he any good at that?

FZ16 tuning problem using K&N
fz is 2yr old for last 1yr usinG K&N RC1060, nw missing become severe, even tried stock filter then same result.. power down to low end.. service centre people cant solve it. presently me n manglore... can any one suggest solution 4it..
