philips X treme power OR Osram Nightbreaker ?? Confused...

Dear all ,

Im a new guy to da forum...But anyway Im sick n tired of da StOcK headlight of da P200 , Planin on changing it.

Btw - I dnt wanna mess around wit the ryds electricals ,So I wnt be opting for HID's . This leaves me only with 2 options....Ryt ??

"Philips Xtreme Power 80%"
"Osram Night Breaker 90%"

Please be good enough to advice on wot to choose...

* Id really like a whitish light beam from my lamps. ( Both Hi & Low ).

PS - Does anyone here know abt "Philips Silver Vision PY21W" ??

One of my fren is also searching for Osram NB in Bangalore but he said he got a pair which didn't seem to be original. And Osram NB comes in pair costing 1400rs.

I have used Philips Crystal Vision as well as Osram NB and i would rate NB above Philips bcz Philips is white light and on wet roads nothing is visible.
Where as NB has dual tint, yellow in low and 10% white in high beam and the brightness is superb..!! Right now am using NB on my Unicorn with DC setup.

A Query - i have installed a Yellow Spot Light (neolite 1010) which will have a H3 bulb. (Correct me if i am wrong)
I would like to instal HiD inside the spot light having Headlight on normal H4.
What would be the cost for H3 HiD kit?
Is it worth investing on H3 HiD?
Will it be bright enough like H4 HiD's?
What about wiring?
Kindly give all the needful information.

I don't know near Koramangala but contact Nilesh Gandhi @ 98808 96117. That is where I got my NBs from.

Make sure you are telling the correct size. AFAIK, he gave you the prices for a pair of H7 bulbs. What size bulb does the FZ have?

Fz has H4, i bought the bulbs he was not selling below 1600 he gave some osram led lamp free, me and my friend shared as we both needed bulbs, he said for LED lamp he can only reduce 100 bucks or so. i also told about you he said you might have bought it long ago. duh and all that shop keeper talks. I bought cuz i went to JC road for it. i would still try asking price somewhere nearby too.

some international site was shipping free worldwide at cheaper rates but i did not buy due to quality issues. They seem nice but philips xtreme seem to bag more awards

You know, this guy's number was given to me by another friend (santoosh) who had told me the same thing. I went to this guy to buy, and when I told him about my friend, he had no idea. Yes, the LED lamp is free, and its pretty powerful and quite useful if you ask me because of the frequent power cuts nowadays in Bangalore.

yeah hehe i tried to bargain on that but my friend choose another LED which was 20 buck costly and too that as free, he took it for his car, i do not need one cuz i have power backup . Will test today night the brightness of the bulb.

DC setup means just as in Karizma, the Headlights will be from battery not the alternator. The bulb will glow at its max capacity. I have used relays so that it saves the electrical switches and may be load on battery not sure

i got the delears num and adress in hyd from the site...
and also there are single packs of the n.b's available at around 800 bucks with the authorised distributors...

hmmmm he sold us 2 bulbs pack but its 800 for me as me and my frnd shared the cost, he said he was official distributor.
