I am okay buying separate spot ans flood lamps as long as overall butlers <$150 / Rs. 10,000. I look forward to suggestions. Saw some lights from goldrunway which are somewhat close in specs, but not a perfect match

Has anyone tried Goldrunway products, are these reliable, since they are fairly expensive and don’t have warranty.
yep i'm using GR30x version since last 8-9 months, on my fz25. quality is superb and it's reliable. and the light output matches similar wattage Baja/clearwater lights at much lower price.

Do these have spot beam, or combo ? I could not find anything in item description. In fact, that’s true for a lot of gold runway products. Also, color temperature is 6500K, do you use the yellow lens with these ?

i have spot only version, GR30X doesn't come in flood/combo version. GR40x comes in combo version. i didn't use yellow lens as last year when i bought it, it wasn't available.

My one year old Osram Rallye HS1 40/45w went kaput in my Yamaha Ray ZR. After reading many threads and watching videos on YouTube, decided to try out H4 bulb in lieu of HS1. The H4 bulb has narrow prongs (to fix the bulb in the socket) and HS1 has wider prongs. This can be easily fixed by using pliers. Bosch H4 60/55w fits scooters too. It appears to be brighter than the previous one. I will check at night and update soon.

          • Some light at last! Fitted my Avenger 220 with Philips Xtreme Vision Plus H4 (12V 60/55W) headlight

            Hello friends,

My Avenger 220 cruise had done 48k km on stock headlight unit. I decided to change them along with the alloys and tyres since I was on a spending spree to upgrade my ride

A big shout out to Parth (MidnightEvil Parth) & another biker brother Karan Mishra (not sure if he is on x-BHP) for their timely guidance and suggestions to help me finalize the purchase of Philips Xtreme Vision Plus H4 (12V 60/55W).

Since this product was available with the same dealer from whom I purchased the alloys, I managed to get this as a freebie

The difference in the headlight throw is noticeable. Unfortunately, I did not fix the exposure while capturing photos since I did not know such a feature existed let alone its requirement

Hope the pictures do some justice to my observation in the headlight quality.

Very happy that I could be of some help. Karan is also on xBhp although I don't remember this 'IGN'.

Keep the post updated with future performance of the lights.

A very informative thread indeed...I need feedback from xBhpians on the performance of the following brands of LEDs preferably in use on Royal Enfield bikes.

                            1. Would request you to rate them as per experience

                            Auxbeam LED
                            Cyclops LED
                            Night eye LED

                            2. How is the performance of Maddog Aux lights. Would like to know the best mounting position based on experience..Is the fork mounting option really good or is it better to mount the aux lights near the headlamp. Also are the Maddog LED Aux lights really capable of withstanding a Ladakh ride without causing catastrophic damage to the bikes wiring etc...

Looking forward to receiving your valuable feedback...

I too look for the same. Including the wiring harness.
