I actually have a pair of aftermarket LEDs they are 9W each (circular) and they work well but they have flood pattern so they scatter a lot and also since mine is bs4 so no option to switch off the headlight , I think will have to get the aftermarket headlights installed on leg guard and focus them down so that they don't scatter so much and light up the area just ahead of the bike well

Yes a cheap and easy fix will do i think

Can some body suggest on where I can get APE RR in Hyderabad.
Authorized service/spares are of no help.
Either don't stock it or not willing to sell it over the counter.

If any of you guys happen to buy at any other shop in Hyderabad, please suggest.

Want to increase the brightness of my headlights (CBR 250R)

I know what the types of lights are, but have no practical experience with any of them.
I'll be making night trips on the highway from time to time, so brightness is important.

Should I be looking to get HIDs or LED lamps? considering cost and cost per lumen?

Hey guys Aditya over here . I know about headlight bulb bases but i was wondering about turn signal indicators and it's bases .
I got a Honda hornet and Vespa lx 125 . I was thinking about changing indicators bulb to Orange or red led . Can someone explain to me different bases of these bulb ? Are these bulb different for various bikes and scooters ? Also are these same on car and bike ?

Connecting 2 batteries in parallel

Hello guys,

I own Honda CB Shine and I would like to add fog lamps to it. Since it has a smaller battery and no full DC Setup, I want to add an additional battery in the side luggage box. My only concern is that will it help if both the batteries are connected in parallel and will provide sufficient charge + power?

I'm having a 2017 Yamaha Ray Z BS4 with auto headlamp on and I feel the headlights are very poor. The bulb is HS1 35W Halogen and battery is 5 A.

What's the best stock headlamp upgrade since the scooter is under warranty?

A h4 led headlight with male h4 connector...
But make sure you buy a led which properly fits behind the reflector as space in scooters is generally less than bikes....

I am planning of installing fog lights on my gixxer bs4 2017 variant. I was planning on choosing a combination of 2 all extreme 18W (10-30V) leds which are available at Amazon (https://www.amazon.in/dp/B01MDR7ZMW/...i_yKsaAbVFM5Y0).
But when i went through various articles on the internet about the same, all of them express some concerns that this will cause a serious hit on the battery life as its has an aho as well.
Can you please advise if i can go ahead with installation of these lights and if not can you please suggest an alternative.

What does a headlamp relay do? Will it brighten the current 35 35 bulb? Or will it enable me to use a 55 60 bulb? Please enlighten me...

Currently using FZ S, New Battery, Osram Cool blue 35 35 bulb.

I suggest you to either go for LED headlight or buy OSRAM spot lights (Check here). I tried many spot lights on my previous bike, like the ones in the pictures attached. None of them were satisfactory. The round ones with many LED's throw was very short, it was not useful at all. The black one throw was Ok, but was not so bright and was fragile (I do not recommend those). I bought 60W*2 with 12 LEDS's spotlights from Aliexpress last year and I have never been that happy with any auxiliary lights. They work wonders. The link I have put are of same type with 6 LED's. Do not worry about the watt rating, they are just extrapolated numbers. I have tested with a watt meter and each LED consumes 1.5W (Around 9.5W per light. About 19W for 2 pcs for 6 LED spotlights). I had them with the same switch you have posted and never faced any problem (though I have never rode them under heavy rains, light and medium was OK. Even water wash did not have any problem with that switch). I had connected them directly to battery and I have never faced any issue even after long usage. However, I highly advice you to set it up with some fuse box like this which helps to avoid any type of short circuit.

The LED that I used on my RTR FI was fantastic(Can find the link to that few pages back). I loved those and I never had to use any auxiliary light once I started using it. Though, the headlight dome shape of RTR might be the cause for it, I am not quite sure how would be the light dispersion in the round dome of C500 (might test this on my friend's C350 after couple of months).

I am going forward with the setup i discussed with you earlier.
18w leds for short range & 30w leds for long range both with separate switches.
Just waiting for those 30w leds to arrive from aliexpress.

Go for 10 degree spot Beam. 30 degree spot will not be good for highway.

Finally got my desired illumination setup on my bike.
Running a led bulb on the stock reflector and using these quad led aux lights (all are in spot configuration) upper ones work as high beams and the other ones work as low beams.

Needless to say that these lights are properly adjusted for best road performance and minimum glare to oncoming traffic cuz these lights are blindingly bright.

The illumination on the road is just amazing , i can ride in complete pitch dark with no street lights at all with absolute confidence.

And the best part is even with all of them on the wattage being used is just a tad bit higher than the what was being consumed by a single 60w halogen.
My setups total wattage draw is 27w + 10w x 4 = 67w.
I mostly use the main headlamp for city use and lower led aux lamps only when needed which is rare. Higher led aux lamps are strictly for those pitch dark highway rides.
