      Frankly speaking i never measured my ZMA milage but i think its giving me arround 35 kmpl

        @nin: hey its hard to convince people uffffff, you just go through the thread First Impressions of ZMR there are these guys Riyazitsme & vinayakpda from bangalore with ZMR's, they posted that they got FE of 57kmpl & 55kmpl in their highway ride.           Regarding FE, FE depends on riding habits and habitat, including bike condition. Provided that the ride is in good condition and ride conditions are same, there will be a difference of 5-7 kmpl between ZMR-R and ZMR. ZMR will give 5-7 kmpl extra than ZMA.

          For example, if ZMA gives 38-42 for a rider, a ZMR will give 44-48 for the same rider.

                Brother, only bikes that have serious fault will underperform. We are talking about the FE of a good-performing healthy ZMA and ZMR. FE is one of the major deciding factor in selecting a bike in India. There may be a few who care about the mileage. I will prefer an FI ZMR engine to non-FI ZMA engine, which will give 5-7 kmpl extra with same performance. The problem here is, you have to spend 22k extra to get the FI-engine. IF one feels the features, such as digital speedo, FI, split handle bar, rear disc, full fairing, tuebless tyres, etc., are worth the 22k extra and feels justified, he can go ahead and buy it happily.

                  "In a country obssesed with milage where people ask about milage of Space Shuttles and Cruise Ships", talking about a bike milage even though its a performace bike is not a blasphemy..

                  Hope all of you have seen the Maruthi Add where all the above said things happen.

                  Last week one funny incident happened is that I felt like a ride and went some 50kms away from the city on the NH9 (@ravi bhai: some 10kms after Ramoji Film City) and stopped at a small shop. The shop owner asked all the details about my bike and after I told the milage 40kmpl, He retorted even my Bajaj Chetak gives 40kmpl why did you spend 100k for this!!! and I am like

                      Ravi, i wish HH decrease the price of ZMR atleast by 8k or increase the ZMR Power..in either case the bike will be superhit...

                        I see in the Hero Honda TV ads they are no more showing Karizma ZMA-R they are only showing Karizma ZMR.. Does it make us think they are not going to manufacture the ZMA anymore and they will keep quite until they sell all those which are already manufactured !!!

                          yes i also watched the ad
                          this may also mean a new ZMA with rear disc is on cards...and they want to clear the old ZMA stocks..

                                well i don't think so considering HH don't launch bikes so frequently ..they might launch a racing edition of ZMR but that too after couple of years
