  • i owned karizma for 3 years i must say great bike awesome pick up top end everything mine was yellow so looks was also gr8.. for me karizma only looks good in yellow...no hard feelings for anybody else my personal opinion. so to the topic zma is anyday great bike within that budget i cant find any other bike better that zma in 70 to 8 slab. yes p220 is there but i dnt like it u can think about it. but if u have some extra money to spend then the 2 bikes are left karizma ZMR and YAMAHA R15. when i sold my karizma for upgrade these are the only bikes i want to get i rode both ZMR was same as ZMA feels like modified ZMA and R15 is awesome yes after thin tyres 150cc mill everything the power it delivers cornering everything is top notch and its india's most technicaly advanced bike as all knw so i got sunset Red R15 and i'm very much happy with it. u just have to test ride both bikes and you will feel the diffrence my suggestion is R15 rest choice is yours.

yeahh !! high time HH does that...Yamaha did it...Bajaj did it...even TVS did it...HH is too busy with street bikes for indian roads !
A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

I sent a mail to Sr VP of HH sales and Marketing to know if HH is going to stop the HH Karizma ZMA-R. I below is the response I got from them.

        Dear Mr Muruli,

We are in receipt of your mail on the subject addressed to Mr Anil Dua our
        Sr.VP-Mktg and Sales.

At the outset we would like to thank you for your phenomenal support and
        kind words of appreciation.

Both Karizma and Karizma ZMR are excellent brands that have created a
unique positions for themselves amongst customers and are equally admired
and adored by both ,the owners who benefit from their performance and also
those who do not own for the sheer aspiration value these brands generate.

Given the huge popularity of both brands ,they would continue to charm
their customers for as long as the customers want .
There are therefore no plans to discontinue either.

As regards the television commercial for the new ZMR and not for
Karizma, the fact is that while, as you know, Karizma is a very well
established and ZMR is a recent launch, hence the need for advertising to
        announce its launch.

Brand Karizma is already immortalised through its campaigns with Hritik
Roshan.....who urges you to be "Always Game"!
        Need one say more.

Technically while the Karizma sports a carburettor controlled fuel system
the ZMR is programmed fuel injected (PGM-Fi) system .
This is the key difference between the two brands technology wise.

Aesthetically while the ZMR sports a full body cowl ,the Karizma bears a
        more sharp and sleek look.

Depending upon what you prefer both from a technical as well as aesthetic
point of view,,you could take your pick between the two.

Let me call you in a while to discuss the matter ,once you have gone
through my response and together explore what would best suit you.

Thanks once again for your support and interest !

        Kind regards,
        Sanjay Bhan

I Finally decided to but the Karizma-R Yellow color bike. I will be getting the bike today after registration. I am very excited to ride it. I wanted few suggestion on what all I need to check once I get the bike. Are there any few things which I need to take care while ridding the new bike which will help to increase the life of my engine and other parts of my bike....

                      • Just saw the discussion on mileage and thought of sharing my zmr experience. I'm currently getting pretty decent average of 44-45 in bangalore city traffic. Also twice I took my bike on long rides. I got a mileage of 52+ kmpl . My speed was around 80 kmph.
Across the clouds I see my shadow fly
Out of the corner of my watering eye
                        ....
