    Whoopie, i got 38 KMPL FE. on my ZMA-R. I think thats a AWESOME FE for this bike... anyone agree or disagree????

      ZMA - Cost of petrol is around Rs.58 per liter right now in Bangalore. So you spend Rs.58000* in fuel if you do 35000 kms on ZMA-R

        this is quite a huge difference you are mentioning. i get 38-39 on my zma-r and similar 39-41 on zmr.

        difference is not that much.

          yes, if ridden properly zma is capable of giving even giher mileage than what you got.

            the zmr is good but i would personally suggest the zma...anytime...

              Really???? Whats the highest FE anyone has ever got on a Karizma R???
              45 even possible????? i usually do my gear shifts between 3k-4k.

                Zma-r ???

                This THREAD has become an interesting piece of information to read lately.

                The WAR of thoughts is really entertaining and thought provoking.

                The ZMA-R is no more selling here. HH says no more production.
                But I do not know of other places and not sure also.

                If anyone going to places might find some stickers in the rear License Plate mentioning MONTH & YEAR of manufacturing.

                Please check and post in forum. I am putting the one from my ZMR.

                  by the way that month and year of manufacturing is of the bike or the license plate ??
                  A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

                        I usually get around 40-43 kmpl on my 5yr. old ZMA..

                          50km/l on ZMR isn't hypothetical..on highways, ZMR is giving around 55km/l to its owners who tested it ..& in city it gives in between 40-45km/l

                          production of ZMR is still continued by HH but they MIGHT phase out ZMA-R..though i don't think dat HH will do so cuz that might increase the sales of P220..or even Fazer..

                            I do not think HH will phase out the Karizma-R. They are still selling HH splendor with little cosmetic modification . But I hope they bring another version of Karizma-ZMA-R by adding just the FI and with little increase in price. I am sure lots of people will love to buy it. What do you guys comment on this.....

                            In case some one gets the valid news about Karizma -R getting phased out please paste some web links where they comment abt this....

                              after reading this post, i called 10 dealers here in delhi/NCR and out of them only one was not having zma-r in stock and rest all dealers have bikes ready to be delivered, colors are red, black, yellow.

                              i asked all of them about discontinuation and all denied this.

                                well, 5-10 is fine but exact 10 is difficult, atleast for my bikes differences are 2-3 kmpl only.
