You mean 13k INR or 1,300 INR?? 13k sounds ridiculously high! At that rate my dreams of owning a big bike in the future will definitely go kaput!

i definitely mean 13K / 13,000 INR. thats just cost of 1 side Clip-on and not the whole set.
my friends N300 just had a right side fall at negligible speeds. though he was covered end to end.. the bill was whopping 45k.

so basically 2 parts of fairing and some other bits as i he last told me...

That's where Aliexpress comes to your rescue.

During my time in the US, what I noticed is people used to do is get these replica fairing kits from places like Aliexpress and keep their stock fairing kit locked up. These came in at 300-400 USD. Rode them like hell during summer and park the bike for rest of the year.

When it came to selling the bike ... pop the stock fairing back on and it looked like a spanking new bike.
When I'm on the road, I'm indestructible. No one can stop me... but they try.

yep i agree on the fiber fairing parts.. loads of them available from ali express however i would never risk on something like a fork or clip-on
reason being .. if low quality or weight diffrence which i am sure will be.. we are always running at risk..

I was a ninja 250 lover too, but I didn't care to spend 1 lakh extra for just 15kmph extra top speed.

Extra 1 lakh? The only 250s available are pre 2012/3 2nd hand vehicles.

The Ninja still handles better than the CBR250R. It feels bigger as well. And it being a twin, is a lot more relaxed than the CBR at higher speeds.

Adding earth wire might solve your problem.

I was talking about my options back in 2012. Since Im new to the world or biking, I rated bikes according to top speed/rupee, with reliability and practicality a given.

I have seen Ninja 250R's going for a steal these days. But its a second ... and would always depend on the owner on how it goes.

Irrespective of all if you got the passion ... these are true missiles in an unsuspecting package. Only concern being the parts and high compression needing premium fuel.

250's work fine with standard fuel however the regular maintenence cost is a downer and parts as you mentioned...
and yeah 250's going for steal these days...
