  • Mech says piston kit we shall use TKRJ.
My doubt or Query is if the block is in the first or second size we can rebore and use the piston kit. if its already in the last oversize, we will have to get the new block and get things done.
is it worth spending so much for it or is it wise to convert it to 135?
what could be the cost difference and difference in engine modifications?

i am planning the enticer meter for the bike as well. is it a proper fit or any clamping changes has to be done along with wiring?

    • UPDATE

the bike was running with third oversize piston. now the boring to be done for the last size. clutch bell, crank and gear assembly will also be changed.
for pistons mech has sourced original yamaha pistons from japan or TKRJ will be used.ART pistons were not available and had to wait for a week.
side oil pump will be replaced and will be connected. so no more petrol mix. Electrical will be checked for better lighting after 12v conversion.
Gear lever will be cut and made single side lever.
New Shocks(Gabriel) coming for the back and reducing the front height to normal height.
only the speedo meter will be present. the side consoles will go.Speedo will be made zero and the speedo error will be corrected.
Handle bar will be painted black.
      Wheel truing will be done.
Simple Horn/ Buzzer will be added.
      Mild Porting will be done.

ANY other modifications You Guys want to suggest?

Signs of a good handling bike

Its better you get the porting done after the runnin is finished.

        Any updates !

the gabriel shocks will be of crux. so no need to adjust the height. since i stand 5'8 and weigh 70 mech says handling wont be an issue.
yes porting will be done after the run in period.
could not go to mech yesterday. called him for updates and he was finishing the other bikes and lathe work of my bore was finished. he said by today everything will be done. tomorrow i can take the bike.
even the exhaust note will be stock now. after run in will alter it as well.

do u suggest anything else to be looked into?

Don't close any of the holes on the muffler, just remove all 3 muffler caps that will do, bike will sound stock until 3.5k rpm it will scream only after 4k this way you can also be away from cops

            • yes sir. lol

              one more query.
during runin should i mix oil in petrol tank as well along with side can oil?
and do we get any speed limiter? its really difficult for me to remain below 50.

                Not adviceable, not needed actually.

No speed limiters available, you have to get used to it there's no other way out.

                              • even after th eengine work i get to hear a buzzing sound from the bore.
i am sure the bore work, piston arrangement and con rod adjustment were perfect.
                                what could be the reason?
at zero idling the sound is not heard. while revving the sounds comes more clear. i doubt the gap is more between the piston and bore wall. can this be the culprit?
