Because of the heat, my friend, because of the heat. Rains, cold doesn't matter to the rider & to the ride but heat does

My reasoning: I initially was inclined to do that but these two months I am just financially looted (blame it on some investment & hugely on the Petrol rise)

Hey guys I need road status for New Delhi - Jaipur Highway, As few friends confirmed that because of 6 lane construction work in progress the highway is not in good condition.

Please confirmed this ASAP as we need to meet our Leh Group at Jaipur else we meet them in Chandigarh

I had been on this Highway on March 31st on my way to Udaipur -Rann of Kutch (Gujarat) and returned on 7th April, 2012. The Road conditions is really bad and the work is going on at extremely slow pace with no likelihood of being completed in near future. BUT that should not mean that one cannot use these highways.

You have to drive with extra care and at slow speed.

High speed driving is a compete NO No.

Just wanted to check by what time is the plan to return back? I need to be back at home by 12 Noon. Will decide to join the ride accordingly.

You forgot Pawangreat. Further I spoke to Pawan, he said Ravi bhaiya is dicey since he might go to Manali, Lakshit is out of action since he is out town with his family.

I am with the same schedule as I have other commitments.. so I want to be back by 12:00 as per my knowledge this much time would be sufficient...
