Tilyar lake ride

Yes, the ride was done today, Sun, 10-Jun-2012. Enjoyed it. Seems the idea to ride there was floating for almost 2 years, but never materialized. As fate would have it, today was the day. The lake is bigger than what I had thought off and had water (unlike Badkal or others which have dried up). Road to this place is in good condition. I was riding very fast on my way back. Also, not very far off. Could reach there very easily in 60 to 90 min.

Overall, it was good fun.

Ride was awesome.My bike gave few bumps to slow down ride but she made back to home.Finally 2 years of planning succeed.Enjoyed a lot.

A great first trip with the Delhi gang. Didn't expect that there would actually be so many for company

Fooling around and enjoying the ride even in the scorching heat is what made my day. Looking forward to upcoming rides.

Awesome pics... I can see you ate at a really good dhaba in the way.. but it would have been more fun had you eaten sitting outside... there are some nice dhabas near kharawar... you could have tried malai parantha which is just amazing but be ready to gain few pounds .. but still Fauji dhaba and Mannat dhaba Are the best

Also In kharawar there are Hanuman mandir and Sai mandir - you should have visited them.. hanuman mandir is known for its mahanta while sai baba temple has awesome infrastucture... its really really beautiful... pics taken there are just great... and with DSLR's Magic could be done... ( kharawar is just few kilometers from the location you got off road if I have rightly gussed the place )

Coming back to topic.. Had I known the meet was today I would have surely joined you all.. But as they say... there's always a next time

@Sid/Pawan/Sherry/T-Bone/Sandeep - Apologies, couldn't ride with you as a group on way back. The road was tempting and the heat was taking its toll on me. So, I just launched my Ninja. Looking forward to more such rides in future.

No problem sirji, it happens when the power of 2 cylinders is combnined with such awesome road. I realized what a Ninja is when I saw you disaapearing from our sight.

Thanx for the good words. I really need to take care of the tummy. Nice pic though. And about Ravi bhaiya, he is an ace off roader, so these kind of roads brings out his talent.

By the time we reached there, we all were hungry and the AC restaurant was the icing on the cake. So we attacked on the food. Surely will try out Fauji & Mannat dhaba next time.
