Hi all,

Of late I wish to go to Chakrata on Weekend. May be can leave at 00.00hrs on any weekend (Saturday) and if possible, can return late night or next day. I hope it would be great fun and a bit challenging in rain.

BTW I am a Grey Haired 56+, any suggestions, anybody joining is welcome

An intro ride coupled with mega g2g sounds fun. But let's try and keep it within a day so that people like Shivanshu can bunk one day at office...what say Shivi bhai...

Sur Sid that sounds good. We had planned to have Intro G2Gs after every 3 months so that all new member can know each other. SO lets start it once again which can be coupled up with some Good Ride

I'm in for a weekend ride only till the time people are ready to ride together.
Almost everyone has moved up and now owns a bike which can reach 120Kmph figure and comes a clean and open highway, Everyone's out of sight with their top speeds And poor me fails in attempting to catch up.
Bhai logo, main aur meri bike ab itne jawan nahi, so if anyone is willing to cruise at 80 then I'm in...

Paaji aise nahi bol sakte aap, hum hamesha apke saath he chalein hein whenever we are riding together

Don't worry no one will "rush", if anyone does so, he will be asked to leave

@Shivi : Would you get an off if we let you know 1 week in advance. I know how it works but I guess your senior can be patao-ed

Man I had not heard of Chakarata till yesterday. So i googled it. The photos, vids and blog mesmerized me! Now im dreaming to go there.

@ALL : Regarding mega g2g, I have few options :

1. G2G at Agra, so that Lucknow and Agra xBhpians can also join
2. G2G at Karnal, but IMO it happened last winter so I guess it would be monotonous
3. A 2 day ride to hills or plains on a weekend and make it overnight G2G, old members might remember Shimla G2G that happened few years ago
4. Anyone remember newbie Induction ride, something like that sort

I like the 2 day ride to the hills idea. Would be an awesome mega g2g.

its a wonderful place to visit bro & there are few attractions near by it as well like Tiger Fall..or also we can go to places like Dhanaulti which is like 100 odd kms far from it,on the edge of mussorrie..

you can check few pics from my album when i last visited there(chakrata & Dehradun) as well..let's make a program to go there together

Was going through the net and got to know about Hanol (around 90 kms ahead of Chakrata) and looks a nice place. May be a two day trip would be a nice idea. If anybody wants to join, can leave on any weekend.
