By the way, I too am a potential buyer but after a couple of years when I have handed over my CBR 250 to my son

Very practical bike. Sitting position is very upright.

Braking is the only downer. Bad braking results in sub par corner entry speeds but great low down torque enables high corner exit speeds.

Stock tires are Bridgestone Battlax. They offer great grip in straightline, leaned over and in wet.

The bike feels heavy at standstill and it feels heavy when moving. It weighs 210 kgs dry.

Wind blast is minimal at 200kmph and you would almost never have to crouch down on this bike.

Max torque is achieved at 7.5k rpm and thats when the pull is maximum.
Max HP is achieved at 8.5k rpm but that is hardly felt.

Perfect for touring...great for indian conditions... Japanese quality.. Kawasaki throttle response is something that will never let anyone down.

The inline twin parallel is tuned for blistering torque..dont expect horsepower from it else you will be disappointed.

All said and done...whoever wants to buy it..cannot buy it. Bookings are not gonna open till diwali and they will resume next year along with 2012 Ninja650R model.

That asides, there is no end to better illumination... you would try these, get bored, and then try HID.

Stick to a yellower light, preferably HID if your reflectors are good enough. the Osram and xtreme etc are JUST waste of money in the long run.

You should check out my fake fox raptor knee guards which act a lot more like shin guards than knee guards, 30 minutes into riding. Quite similar to Alankar's Axxo Shin guards

From the thread about Lights, opinion about HID is very mixed and confusing. Please suggest some yellower light with better illumination. the stock bulb is 35/35.
About reflector being good or not... i will show you the reflector in this G2G and then you tell me coz i dont understand much about them

I upgraded the stock in my FZ to philips standard 55 and I'm quite happy. But maybe that's because I've not seen anything better in "yellow" light. If I put HIDs in my FZ, I would have to wind my bike to start it in the morning as there is no kicker and my battery would die the minute I switch them. I'm exaggerating, of course!

The colour is not a bulb type, its a temperature.
Buy a standard HID that people use for R15. Just ensure to be on lower temperatures (I guess 3000k or 4300K) and you should be fine.

Higher colour temperatures would look nice and whitish\bluish but is useless in cutting on coming glare, rains and fog and glowing the street signboards (if you are lucky to have them enroute)

BLAH! not true. HID consumes lesser power and lasts longer!

                      Hi Sid,
Check out the 55w HID. Those are yellowish in color (even though Navnish confirmed that it is 43K I didn't see actually) & better than 35w. Contact Navnish in light thread. But you have to use HIDs with projectors to cause less problem to the oncoming traffic. I use 35w Projector HID & is way better than the stock though feel insufficient sometimes. Check the battery limitations too. For HID Projectors you will have to remove the reflector or paint it black.
Regarding transparent visor for LS2, check with Poona Scooters 020 - 27422131, 27420249 it's a Pimpri number but they have shop in Pune too..can someone share the number..

                      Hi Rk,
It's a myth. No rewinding or battery issues. Using these for long..no issues...Need to be of better quality though.

Nice upgrade though, but since its costly go in for some philips 55/60W H4 bulb. Its cheaper and it does the same job. I have a philips one installed on my bike.
