As per the website it only says one pair of jeans...
Shudnt the trip be on ST 7, i guess they did mentioned that in the competition (Correct me if iam wrong)..
If he is on his bike then what about staying, eating and fuel charges??? are they borne by Hyosung & Wrangler???? or he is on his own?

Why don't you join Pads at Tirupathi ?

Alternately... Why the F don't you head to Spiti?

Anyways.. if interested in a less extreme ride.. head to Mahabaleshwar and do some sight-seeing.. believe me its quite good.

Sorry for going off topic but i need a little help here,

I'd be coming down to pune from Bhopal towards the end of this month..
I need to know the current condition of the NH3 and NH50, any idea?

I've never had a outstation bike in pune..
Do the Cops create an issue out of "MP" registered Bike...
what all i need to have except the NOC and general papers.
also which is the best HH service station in pune.?

Bhopal to Indore - NH86, has been almost completely laid... fantastic road...
NH3 is in its pristine shape as well...
While going ie Pune to Bhopal I barely found vehicles on it..I was doing 120-140 kmph quite effortlessly
However, it was very different while coming from Bhopal to Pune. Found a couple of traffic jams along with heavenly TATA machinery laundering with demonic faces almost all the way..

This time I followed the NH50 or COE50 (Comedy of errors 50) both the times...BAD Road it is...narrow 2-laned and full of traffic....

I would suggest you not to take this road...

During my last trip (a year back) I followed SH10 ie leaving NH3 at Malegaon --> Manmad --> Kopargaon --> meeting NH50 @ Sangamner all the way to Pune...
Not that this road is good but it is better than NH50 which I found out this time only, however it is almost 40km shorter...

Regarding cops...The first time I was riding my MP registered WagonR. Did not face any issues, however Maharashtra has got one of the wackiest bunch of Thullas, so you never know....
& since you would be coming on a bike, you wont even have any toll receipts to show that you have just come...

But yes, once you come and use the bike inside Pune...that 'MP' tag on your bike would act as a chick magnet to these besolute money hungry Thullas...for sure...

EDIT: And yes try not to ride during dark on either NH50 or SH10
You can leave a little early from Bhopal since you would be aware of the route (at least till Indore)

Just for your reference:
My last Pune to Bhopal journey
kms: 825.5km
Time taken: 14.5 hours (includes everything, did not stop much)

Bhopal to Pune:
kms: 830 (Entered Nashik)
Time: ~18.5 hours AFAIR

Ride: Ritz Diesel

Sure, next weekend is fine for me! I am thinking of an overnite stay trip to hubli! Or we can also visit lonar!
