YUP, I am joining in for the B.A.R.K.ing ride . however, since (as i have discovered after the last crash) I have third party insurance, I wont be able to ride along. I will love coming pillion. I will be getting a comprehensive one shortly as soon as I get the funds managed right.

Infact, This is gonna be one of the last group rides for the next 3 months so I am trying to arrange the funds asap and join in for the ride on my bike... lets see how it works out

btw, are you looking for rain rides?? (i mean obviously you are ) but I mean to ask about the destination

Welcome to the clan. You can get most of the info about the upcoming rides on this thread as and when they are planned. mostly, when a ride is planned, the plan is put up a week ago on the thread and the date and timings are decided mutually.

you can subscribe to the sms channel on the first page of this thread to get instant updates of upcoming rides.

Hi thank you for your response . i am confirming ride on 29th may 2011 (sunday). following are the details.

Date : 29th May 2011
Meeting place : Chandni chowk
Meeting Time : 6 AM
Departure : 6.30am
Destination : RK's , Lonavala

Further ride till Ambi Vally will be decided after Break fast.

RULES :

1. Be present on time decided.
2. All safety gear is compulsory.
3. All papers in order and must be carried along.

not yet! but nice sugestion. I think my bike's length will have to be altered to do that. also, i will have to modify the bodywork for accomodating the dumper

btw, yesterday's track experience of the zx10r and nsr250 was good... I hope I lived up to your expectations and crashed it lots of times.. hope the console is not ruined after our crashes.

btw, yesterday, i finally made a timing of 1 min, 03 seconds, 125 miliseconds on the zx10r on the track wish you and antz and shrinath could see and verify it for me.

Oh ya! u certainly lived up to your standards... Hope there's a scope of improvement in ur riding skills(to start with in the virtual world though )

For those of you who haven't caught a glimpse of the ST7 and GT 650R in flesh,they are on display in front of Big bazaar in Big cinemas complex,PCMC.

The GT 650 did not really sweep me off my feet. The ST7 is huge and BIG lot of Chrome.

Garware Superbiking has a showroom on Bhandarkar Road, Deccan Gymkhana, Pune (quite near to Hotel Roopali) and both bikes in multiple colours are on display.

Leaving on a nice bike...

Hi everybody,

It has been a wonderful 2 years in Pune. I got my MBA degree, made new friends here on xBHP and learned a lot.

Tomorrow, I set course for Rajkot via Dahej. Of course, I will put up a detailed report of the drive for any followers who would want to do the same route later.

A report on the new CBR will be included. For new owners yet to get their steeds, a suggestion. Get a set of Allen keys right away - barring the rear seat squab, ALL other bolts are of the Allen type. Simple tasks like oil changes, filter cleaning etc require Allen keys. I got a set from a shop on Karve Rd for Rs 135 (YMMV)

From 1st June, I shall be on duty in Rajkot. Any xBHPian especially from Pune wants anything, feel free to write.
