I had purchased a nylon-resin cover -the shiny silver type with the bike 3 years ago but i used it only for a couple of days. i will see if i can find it (lots of shifting done so will have to search for it)
I did notice your post and wanted to reply but did not. Btw, I also have the silver colored cover (that Rockrz mentioned) that came with my P220. I use it regularly to cover the bike that I am not riding in a particular week. The reason why I did not respond is that
    1. I don't think the cover I use is water proof and
    2. I don't know if water proof covers are available.

      • I dont understand why so much discussion over a G2G location for weekend, rohit you should finalise the place and fix it, thats it.

Come on we are bikers and going some kilometers ahead wont make a big difference i feel. We all can go for partying and all other activities 50 km far away than so much fuss about deciding location of G2G where one person likes to go here and not there.

So finalise one location and post it, and dont play around with locations as you wont be travelling with PMC buses obviously.

              Hi Vkavadia,

You can will get the bike cover in Nana peth / Pimpri which is can week you bike dry and away from dust (to a limit), but they do not last for a very long time. I use it for classic 350.. and using it daily.

Ask a certain cafe owner. He passionately keeps his FZ(150) under covers.
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

I am using the one provided to me by YFS and it lasts good in rains and dust, all you need is put a cord or something from below.

No matter which cover you use some dust will always cling on the paint.

Dust isn't a problem.. Major needs would be in the monsoon..

I suggest do not cover it in the monsoon rather keep it under a shed since during monsoon the moisture/water will be trapped inside also due to the condensation the motorcycle will rust more & cause more problems (As in case of 4 wheelers). If you still need it then there are shops in Nana Peth who will stitch it for you.

+1, Dont keep the bike covered for long periods in monsoon as the rusting accelerates.

Ah.. Good point.. Didn't think about that.. Well there's no space for a shed so I'll just leave it out in the open..
