Just a query: Since we are going to Lavasa, can we expect some cornering specialist/junkies from Pune to join this ride?? Need some serious tips and live examples to improve my c-skills. (Twist of the wrist aftermath ... after watching the DVD I came to know that "I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT CORNERING!!!!!")

hi Sumit .... do you have that CD with you... I tried to search on online but ended up having only the e-book, which I was reading fr sme time now... It would be great if you could lend me ur DVD fr a day or two... i guess... watching it would be much better then reading it ...

Pune cops will fine you for anything........just 2 days ago my friend was fined for wearing 'STUNTING GEAR'........apparently it isnt legal to wear riding gear

The cops in Bangalore told me that once. That wearing gear is not allowed. I wasn't fined. I was 'warned'

aahhh its the same story everywhere.. in tvm also.. cops would stop you ask are you going for road racing? you were seen overspeeding yesterday? once one cop stop me for wearing helmet , to check whether i am a snatch burglar

@sherahrk - i had gone through what you are going through now, as i was using my goa registered bike in pune for some time, you need form 28, 29 and 30 with your chassis print which you can get online and your insurance copy and valid puc certificate with your flat rent agreement or companies letter, also they need your driving license or other photo id.

Even in this wintery morning, it is daylight by 6.15 am. So the posted schedule is correct.

Will meet you guys around 8.15 - 8.30 am at Lavasa.

Why dont you people go over to Mumbai, attend Helmet awareness ride and come back .

Alert : You have used up your limit of well meaning but irrelevant advice. If you continue doing this, the moderators would be required to well . . . .mod you and actually force you to join rides.

All the guys who want some so called cornering specialists / junkies can pm me for their numbers. Why not have a unending phone call / sms campaign to bring those guys for this ride?

Hi, Lavasa plan seems good.
@zmatic and others : those who want dog tags to be made. The ones made in pune cost 70 rs. And ones ordered from b'lore cost 300-350 rs. And are better. Check out makati in camp for local tags and oliveplanet.com

If you are planning for Lavasa this Sunday, then I can join you all. I have a second shift that day. I can manage it, I will ride to Lavasa with you all and return alone before time. This sounds good to me. You all can count me in if its Lavasa and not any other destination.

I have updated my contact details in the spread sheet.

This will be my first ride with you all, hoping to learn from you all. Please do let me know if there is change in plan, if there is change then I might drop.

How nice of you to mention the names.. Its been a very long time since my last ride "anywhere", I really want to join but unfortunately I'm giving my bike for servicing tomorrow. Hoping for it to get it completed tomorrow itself.

Couple of pages back there was a mention of some mum-pune combined ride to nashik, wasn't that in the picture..

AND FYI, NV is down due to ill health, he isn't coming to office too..

Departure time - 6.15am

IMP Information
Please carry all the documents, PUC, License, RC Book, Insurance and remaining docs

Safety Gear Mandatory (Helmet, Jacket with Armor, Gloves, Knee Pads, Motorcycle Shoes, etc)


Please be on time, group will not wait more than expected departure time...

Additions to this ride (to go down to lavasa valley and enjoy brunch will be added up after knowing the attendance)
