Guys, this weekend we are riding down to kashid/murud via tamhini ghat. Is anyone on that road lately? How is it?
If it's not a big deal please give me heads up about cheap accommodation in Kashid(we are 6).

Road from Vadkhal Naka to Kashid is really bad full of poteholes and for cheap accommodation you can stay at murud village or small hotels just before Phansad or you can hire single room just at the Kashid beach 1000 bucks for all of you and negotiable

Welcome to pune,the lazy brother of mumbai.you can read through my experience on the re-registration process in the following link.Its better to go through an agent cos there s a lot of paperwork and you would not want to bunk office every couple of days.

According to your post i could ride with noc in pune for 3 months . But it has been less than 1 month since i brought my bike and still police fined mee i shud have known this earlier ..could have atleast argued with this point.. !!

I have just pulled an agent other than from the crowd outside rto for just in case.!!

frankly if possible i prefer first to do it in official way coz.. it costed me just 50rs fees + 25rs cover'n stamp for getting NOC from trivandrum ... within 10 days they sent me NOC to my home.. whereas one agent asked for 1500 rs for the same

and reverend could you please tell me what all forms are to be filled and procedure to pay tax ??? and rto timings ???
coz when i went there around 12.30 1 day there was no one inside the office even inside the enquiry

Pune cops will fine you for anything........just 2 days ago my friend was fined for wearing 'STUNTING GEAR'........apparently it isnt legal to wear riding gear

The cops in Bangalore told me that once. That wearing gear is not allowed. I wasn't fined. I was 'warned'

Safety Gear Mandatory (Helmet, Jacket with Armor, Gloves, Knee Pads, Motorcycle Shoes, etc)

+1 you are right, just gather at chandni chowk at sunday morning 6.30 am as its winters and than decide a road and ride.

@sherahrk - i had gone through what you are going through now, as i was using my goa registered bike in pune for some time, you need form 28, 29 and 30 with your chassis print which you can get online and your insurance copy and valid puc certificate with your flat rent agreement or companies letter, also they need your driving license or other photo id.
