Also would like to know which is more durable, rigid and can stand good amount of crashes.
The purpose of both of these boots is different. MX boots are slightly longer, stiffer and carry lesser protection for street riding than the purpose built street/racing boots. The flexibility being slightly more, street/racing boots would be more comfortable on a sports bike than MX boots.
There are some armor points like the toe armor and the heel plate that are not a part of the MX armory. Likewise, the toe protector and the sole plate are different in construction and material to street/racing boots.
Both the boots are equally resilient when it comes to surviving abuse.

    Currently at Bharwan Da Dhaba.

@Eshaan Amritsar is a religious town. Butter chicken postponed till tomorrow (even though it was available with my hotel da room service )

Edit: The Paneer Butter Masala I got here is drastically different from what we get over there. Still it tasted awesome with Spl. Butter Lachcha Paratha .

Tomorrow's plan I don't know. Will inform of my whereabouts to someone.

    True that.

        2. A Sand Storm which reduced visibility so badly that I had to slow down to the 40s on a *Rajasthan* arrow straight Highway.

        3. Punjab special: A wedding convoy being video shot in 'Ninad style'. Just all bikes in 'Ninad style' video were replaced with cars . I promptly spoilt their video not once, not twice, but 4 times
The rain reminds me of the flash flood of sorts I witnessed in Suratgarh in 2001 - the Officers Mess was in 2 feet of water and we had to drag the furniture and carpets out at 1 o'clock at night.

During Op Parakram, I was caught in a few sandstorms but the most memorable one was waiting one out with hatches down in a T-72 behind the Indira Gandhi Canal (I had gone for some work with an armoured formation on that day). The crew made tea INSIDE with 44 live rounds of the 125 mm main gun a few inches away and I was like but they? No sweat. Tea + pakodas + beedi = 3 happy tank men and one s***t scared infantryman. Those were the days... Even my wife and son were stuck in a sandstorm on the S'garh - Ganganagar highway. They were hot and dusty when they reached home finally but the car was ok

All the best for your Punjab ride. Many happy memories of that place - like hitting the barbed wire fence one night in December in thick fog whilst on an exercise patrol and exchanging "pleasant words about one another's mothers and sisters" with the Paki Rangers. Please don't do anything like this now, things are different.

Do try and get a good "saropa" - a ceremonial sword with a velvet-encased scabbard as memorabilia. Also, the area near the Golden Temple is famous for authentic pure iron (non rusting, in the Ashoka pillar mould) kadas. You can get the complete set too - kanga, kada, kirpan and kachha but the kesh have to be your own :-)

Will update whenever i can. No roaming .
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Very True- "Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattention, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity."

I like- "Bikes are not supposed to be a rational decision. If you can park it and walk away without looking back to admire it, you got the wrong one."

@ all - Since its a holiday we can also keep a brunch g2g in city only. Time would be around 11 or 12ish types. (this is another option for those who do not wish to get up early)

I'm specifically not keeping it like usual times like early morning or so as want the day to go easy and enjoy the freedom from regular monotonous tasks along with usual programmed g2g schedules.
