I took the turn towards Pune. I was ripping along on my new bike at 70kmph (now not so new after so many crashes). I know this is way too fast but I was in a hurry to reach home to my dog. After going some distance, I came towards a fork on road. Even though I have toured extensively, having come from goa (after couple of sleepless nights due to rocks and ants in the bed), I was not sure which road to take.

Luckily I found a couple of guys riding a P220. I stopped near them and asked them which road to take. I was saluting them in Nazi style when suddenly one guy threw himself on my riding glove. I tried to avoid him but he succeeded in hitting my glove with his nose. My hand being rock solid because of exercise I do in office (after all, I am a software guy with no work to do in officeI revved bike to better focus headlights on that guy.
          Major problem in ur story..
R15 lights run on battery hence revving not really necessary..

          Hehe.

A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

Are you sure yours were original? .... I am asking as I was getting the same shoes at almost half price two lanes next to the showroom from a local shoe shop but I did not trust the quality as these days many fake branded shoes are floating around in the market
@Rony: Mine is the original one too got it from the woodland showroom in Pune for around 2000 the traction on this shoes reduces tremendously when the surface is wet and when these shoes gets drenched takes a lot of time to dry out and making it more heavier than it already is. I am very much aware of the duplicates and its shocking to see its striking similarity with the original ones. One good thing about these shoes is that its very durable and mine still looks like new even after handling it rough. This shoes will grip well on the gravel surface bit in Leh/Ladakh where its snow, water & muck u will have a hard time. I would suggest u the shoes which Satyen bought from the army store in Pune. Those look really good along with ankle support and costs around 400 i think. Just sharing my experience with these shoes..

                        quite correct.
my first shoes were woodlands which i had go for trek in himalayas.
nothing but shit in terms of grip on wet & in snow.
freaking a office guy even slipped on the wet tiles & has back problems.
the problem is not with the grooves but with the very compound with which the soles are made.
otherwise rugged & durable for quite a long time
