He had to fill fuel, so he braked up without pumping. . .And as nitin was tailing him at a considerably small distance, it was a bit difficult time . . .
And yeah read your comments on that , hope dazzler reads it too. . . Seriously that had really gave goose bumps. . . Coz all the three bikes were in one single line where in he decided to check in his tank . .

        @ saad
        1) remains in good condition for a longer time.I do the following --if donot have time or a proper person than use the puncture kit else go to proper guy & get it fixed from inside.takes 20-25 mins though obviously

2)I just don't like the sticky gooey stuff if not done properly.even many a kms of running still don't remove that & too many in numbers of that will look weird.

Buddy I have seen burnt-off eyebrows being cleaned. certainly not a pretty sight. absolutely not a painless one either. Also, your 'other hand' was not 12 feet away from the tank opening.

Log is posted in the tourer section named "weekend escapde to alibaug". And by pumping I meant , he braked off all of a sudden and not gradually. As his R15 is a new one, it exhibits some extraordinary braking performance

The problem is that Shrinath is yet to come to terms with the fact that thr R15 has superior, rather much much superior braking as compared to the splendor. But how come you were up so early?

I slept early yesternight on account of flu only to get up at 5:30 am and bore myself to death.

Srinath...address your braking concerns to any of the R15 riders here. Once u get used to the braking its is a dream with dollops of feedback. And I hope u dont pump your brakes( as in brake then let loose then brake again then let loose again)
Dont treat your brakes as on-off switch. Treat them as regulators.

                      • @ karthik - i was not stopping for refueling, its just i had to check my tyres air pressure which i checked post breakfast at lonavala.

@ ten hut - The braking of the R15 was quiet smooth as i was operating her with single finger not pumping up as ritwik and sagar told me its dangerous but that moment near the turn it was sand and if i had taken a left i would have hit pads who was next to me and further there was a big stone so in a wrong judgement i hit the front brakes hard and that resulted in the front wheel lock and the bike slipped. Yes i need to learn how to apply brakes on different surfaces as thats what was the reason of this fall.
