So we have an MUMBAI - PUNE g2g on Sunday, 12th Dec as decided by Sunny. This will the point where the 8 Ducati Riders will meet.

Pune people will meet at a particular point (we will post which point) at 8.30AM and head off for Big Wheels by 9 AM and reach there 11AM.



The location is as follows:

BIG WHEELS MOTORING CAFE
NH 4 - Old Mumbai Pune Highway, Kanhe Phata, Near Kamshet, 2 kms before Tony Dhaba while driving towards mumbai.

Has anybody ridden via Ambaghat recently? Is the road condition good in Ambaghat? I'll be riding to Ratnagiri next week and don't want to use NH17 at all. That's why need to know how's the road condition of Ambaghat! Thanks in advance!

Yes, we (along with a few others) did Ambaghat a couple of weeks back. The road condition is excellent.

Rode on that Ambaghats 2 weeks before onthe way to Vishalgadh... I must confess, it was one of my best ghat experience till date.Wide open turns, excellent road conditions, atleast the Ghat section has buttersmooth roads.
And also it is that ghat where Surojit after successful and good cornering in few of the open corners ultimately had a lowside in one of the turns. Poor chap got carried away!

BTW one correction, DK didn't ride to Velneshwar via ambaghat. I was with DK and we road via NH17 all the way.. and if am not wrong Mumbai gang did their return journey via same route
