      Finally this ride is happening

      One day return ride to Daulatabad Fort and Ellora Caves, Aurangabad.

      Date - 12th Jan 2013 (Saturday)

      Meeting time - 6.15 am


      Departure time - 6.30 am

      Meeting point - Phoenix Market City, Viman Nagar

      Total ride distance: 520 kms (Approx)

      Map -

      Phoenix Market City to Phoenix Market City - Google Maps

      Confirmed Riders:

      1)Kuntal - R15
      2)Gaurav - R15
      3)Prabhat - R15
      4)Imran- R15

      If interested please add your name.

      Documents
      a. Valid Driving License: MUST have and carry at all times
      b. Bike Registration Papers: Original or Attested Photocopy
      c. Bike Tax Certificate: Original or Attested Photocopy
      d. Bike Insurance: Preferably a comprehensive insurance, personal insurance would be a plus.
      e. PUC Certificate: A valid PUC certificate; especially if touring along with the group to pollution sensitive/monitored areas.

      Safety Gear
      a. Helmet: Has to be in good condition and preferably ISI/DOT certified
      b. Thick Jacket/Riding Jacket: Must have inbuilt armour or external armour is also allowed
      c. Gloves: Must cover vital points like knuckles and wrist. Cut/half gloves not allowed
      d. Knee Guards: Either bionic or regular flex type. Should be worn inside trousers if non bionic.
      e. Riding Boots/Sports Shoes/Army Boots: Anything that covers the foot well.
      f. There is nothing that can better the protection of a full leather suit (if affordable). The preferred and most recommended piece of protection that your money can buy. Not compulsory though.

      NOTE:
      1. Any member found flouting the rules will be warned once before being banned permanently
      2.
      Since the distance covered is gonna be 500+ kms in one day, this ride will demand lot more than just the riding skills
      I believe I can fly...

        As all of you must be knowing about ongoing exhibition in ARAI, Saturday 12th Jan is the last day of expo. we will be visiting this expo on 12th at 11am.

        We will assemble at Grubshup at 10.30am and leave for ARAI

          a few info from my side, as you all are going on 12th, i would suggest to attend ARAI technology theater in Hall 2 from 10.00am to 1.00pm

                          We are not that frequent to this road beyond SmileStone Cafe, so not sure about the traffic condition though as per info the roads are pretty good.
                          We maintain speed of around 100-120 kmph on empty roads(with almost zero traffic i.e. in the early morning).
                          As time passes by, it obviously decreases. But not too slow as we'll be covering 500+ kms in a day.

                          P.S. We ride R15 not R1 , so speed should NOT be concern for anyone .
                          Feel free to join(with proper riding gears and documents).
