I have a spare pair of knee guards. Will bring it along for the ride. The rest can get the basic ones from Tilak Sports (opp. Champion sports on Deccan Gymkhana) for 150 bucks. Also make sure everyone is carrying the following items for the ride:
1. Helmet
2. A thick jacket that offers some protection in case of a fall
3. Gloves
4. Knee Guards
5. Shoes
6. Copy of Insurance papers
7. Valid PUC
8. Valid Motorcycle License
9. Emergency Contact details of family members or guardians

Guys who fail to bring along any of the above items for the ride will not be allowed to join in.

1-3 n 5-9 says "PRESENT SIR"
4 will be present by saturday evening...

BTW i can invest 700-900 for a pair of good knee guards, so where do i go? n ha i dnt need the set of elbow n knee gaurds as i already have the DSG jacket

In our last G2G, it was decided to go for a ride to Malshej Ghat. I have attached tentative map for those who are new to the area.

The plan is to leave from Nasik phata @5.00 am on coming Sunday i.e. 3.1.2010. Those who turn up late, can catch up with the group en route.

The 150 bucks knee guards are very basic and can take one fall at the most. But then again some protection is better than no protection at all. You can try Adventure Sports behind the McDonalds in Kothrud for your gloves. It is the official Cramster reselling outlet. Otherwise you can pick up the 1200 bucks riding gloves from Probiker. Have been using them for a while and they are not bad at all.

My first post here in Pune G2G thread. Was nice meeting you people at the dinner G2G. Thanks to NV, hudroxide and Ritwik for organising and picking me up for the G2G.

If anyone is willing to take me as pillion , I am ready to join. I don't have any gears with me. So that will also be borrowed from someone. I don't want to trouble you guys so much. If everything falls in place I will join. Otherwise there is always a next time

@Sagar_46 : Man I am seriously thinking of transporting my bike from Chennai. Feb seems to be a long time without my bike . Will miss out on lot of rides until that.
