Sorry Antz, vishwas, NV and everyone i am shuffling between pune and goa for some time, on 30th night and 31st night i was travelling from pune to goa and back, still some more shuffling is going on and more to be done so will meet you all guys after 11th nov , by the way the last pending gear -knee guards are added in my kit now so atleast i can join you for rides at max speed of my splendor

Was planning to do on rodeo but looking at road conditions from Maharashtra border to a distance of 100 kms i dropped the plans as the entire road is washed off, now all you will get are sharp pointed stones. so now commuting through volvo

I was doing top speed testing of my bike till 3.30AM (Did 147.. each and every time.. whatever I tried.. nothing more ) on NH4 could only sleep by 5:00. Got up at 10:00AM

P.S.: The new lot 220s go much faster! (157 kmph)

I need a new rear tyre before I can do such kind of a ride.. Its good I didnt come yesterday.. My tyres wouldn't have gripped anything at all..

haha...make it 5th and 6th..or 4th and 5th...thats what I am saying...when u r shifting goig by ur gut feeling you hit the highest gear way too soon and are in constant search for another one.

We always talk about speedo indicated speeds. If R15 can cross 150kmph, P220 doing so (on speedo) is highly probable.

p.s. - Is your carb fitted with titanium breather pipe ?

Well...if my 17ps 150cc machine can hit 148 then i think a 220cc 21ps bike surely can crack out somehting close to 155+. It also depends on gearing TBH.

How can a smaller carb improve your top speed? Weight reduction?

Well...if my 17ps 150cc machine can hit 148 then i think a 220cc 21ps bike surely can crack out somehting close to 155+. It also depends on gearing TBH.

@Antz- I think u should be able to do more than what you could. Give me a test ride on the highway once.

It also depends on the weight of the person riding. A lighter person can achieve higher speeds than a heavier person IMO. Correct me if I am wrong.
