Guys i was talking about a meet not a ride ... for all xbhpians to turn up and get to know each other ... share thoughts and riding experiences ... i'm sure the new members would avail a great deal of knowledge from the senior bikers ...

@Rohit.. I am in for a Mid-Week G2G, but not on a Wednesday(not coz of the movie :P). There has been no discussion on a topic me an Surojit suggested you here on this thread so I am going ahead and posting about it right now.
As most of us know, the Roadshakers do intra-city rides on every Wedesday evening riding in a 2x2 file. This is advertisement of their group inside the City. What me and Surojit suggested was rides on similar lines, but with a difference. We could organise city rides for xBHP Pune on a predefined weekday, every week, through different parts of the city before we meet up for our regular weekly G2Gs. The agenda for these rides will be.. for starters.. Helmet awareness..
I mean, we have the banners, we have the numbers, we have the riders, we have the meets. Its just that, Instead of everybody meeting up at Roopali and eating there, we meet up at Roopali and ride together to some other part of town and eat there.. Or reverse of this.. whatever is acceptable to the members.
If we consistently ride on a particular day of the week eg. a Thursday, every week, people will look forward to us riding, and it will be good advertisement for xBHP too. Agreed, it will bring on some unwanted/poser/arrogant members too, but most of all, it will create awareness, about helmets, about safe riding techniques and about the ideology that is xBHP. And then, finally, people like me will stop cribbing about Roadshakers grabbing all the limelight about THE "Helmet awareness ride". Because we would be doing one each and every week.

This a good idea to the core ! Will we be able to gather enough attention though ? Roadshakers draw attention not by riding in a file but also with the (THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP) x 10

when i ride bullet before my bullet was solid condition but i once race with a Ceilo car and my engine size. mechancic say bullet is good bike but no racing. it is good for three people and very powerful.
one day when i become rich i but ducati and then I race with cars. not now.

+1 for the idea but i think we should also add a bit difference something like a dress code or may be by riding at a consistent speed not just ripping up, so whoever sees or rides with us should not feel ignored that a powerful bike is moving ahead and he is left behind and whoever sees thinks "oh its a XBHP pune ride.Originally posted by antz.bin View Post@Rohit.. hey dude you are saying of full riding gear, how many of us have full riding gear that includes all the new members and existing ones.
