A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels, scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

Thanks Shrinath for the appreciation on group ride. I was actually trying to follow a guide which someone (Rockerz or u or I forgot) had posted a few pages back.
I don't know if I can join in for ride this sunday, kadki hai bhaya...month end.. lol, btw whats the destination and distance might join in if tis 200~250km. Same goes for vivek bro as it would mean a 400+ km ride. I am really glad to find vivek bro's post.
@nin : I saw your video and I saw the pics on Rockrz's album. I liked the cornering of all. First time I saw myself cornering in a video. Really liked it and gave me confidence.
@for all who cant corner, I would like to share how I learnt to corner as a beginner.
Road: Lavasa
Process: stay in mid of the road (dont go to the other side edge as the oncoming vehicles will crash into you) at a speed of 45-50 (dont go high as starters) and turn the handle slightly at the turn and try to lean. As the corners come dont increase the speed but try leaning more just till the point till where you are confident or with a shaky confidence. Dont try much until you are confident enough. Later when you have mastered it or have become good at that, try variations of speed and leanings. At the very sharp corners try at a very low speed and low gears.
Physical Handling for Starters (My way): Arms and hands should be firm and adjustable and grip strong on the handlebars. You should feel the handle of the bike as your own body part. If you can feel like this with, you can go to the extent you never dreamed of.....Riding the Indian Monster : 200NS....

Dude, have you received some divine guidance about cornering? Because, whatever you have written above is a lot of bull. Please do not post wrong information. Someone new (like me) may actually try it and then fall flat on face or axx.Originally posted by utsavchs View Post@for all who cant corner, I would like to share how I learnt to corner as a beginner.

Arms, hands and grip firm is the worst advice I have ever read. I am sorry if this post offends you but please get your facts straight before posting.
Hope you take it in a positive spirit.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

I never received any guidance for cornering. All the cornering part I do now was just watch and learn from others. If possible please post some guide on cornering so that wrong practitioners (like me) and the ones who cant really corner will have some knowledge to try on.....Riding the Indian Monster : 200NS....

For finding my cornering techniques, you will need an electron microscope min. There are several guys who can give you tips about proper methods of cornering. Most of them are currently in chennai learning something more at CSS.Originally posted by utsavchs View PostI never received any guidance for cornering. You can speak with them or with Niranjan Vaidya and those guys can guide you properly. Till then, you can find some more info here -
