Why does your boss need to come to your home???Originally posted by shrinathrao View PostSneak out from work and boring boss brother
I am assuming that you start your rides from home rather than the office or you are taking the term "work to ride" to a bit of its extreme limits!! LolSuffering from Parked Motorcycle Syndrome

Heat was damn too much.... Lavasa and then offroading was good..got a chance to experiment with various aspects of rtr..but 2 rides to khadakwasla and panchet on 2 different big machines of garware left my arms aching and me a bit tired.. But they were real good to ride except that i was riding an sbk first rime in my life....felt really nice..except the heat :-P....Riding the Indian Monster : 200NS....

Let me get this straight . . .
1. You did a Lavasa ride with offroading, experimenting with various aspects of RTR
2. You did a ride to Khadakwasala on one big bike
3. You did a ride to Panshet on another big bike.
All this in one day. You really are a super rider.Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.

Did you have doubts upon that?Originally posted by trustvishwas View PostWOW !!!

Anyway, moving to something serious.
Anybody/Utsav, please provide exact dimensions of the engine alongwith its weight. I believe once we (xBhpians) have this data, we can be of any help.
I still havent found out any1 who could even REMOTELY assist with the battery issue.

I did a ride to Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar with wifey yesterday. Had breakfast at Mapro garden and headed towards Mahabaleshwar. Too hot in Mahabaleshwar but the moment we got back to Panchgani, it was an overcast. The heat was so much that I had to eventually remove my riding jacket! Had lunch at the newly opened Jaffarbhai's Delhi Darbar. Amazing food. But a little expensive. On our way back from Panchgani in the evening, we were welcomed by heavy rains and crazy winds. The traffic was bad too. Also spotted the soon-to-be-launched Ninja 650 in green, on the way
All in all a day well spent!

Lets have Utsav create a new thread mentioning about his DIY project. Lets discuss all the details there and get ideas from innovative minds out here.Originally posted by Controlled Madness View PostAnyway, moving to something serious.

Buy the el cheapo Pulsar Tank Protector or even cheaper ones from Nana Peth with no 'tuning fork' / 'yamaha' mentioned on it
Stop replacing lost Yamaha Stickers. They cannot steal 'em if there ain't any!
Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.
