As much as I would love to ride wtith a huge group of xMen to nice destination around Bangalore, I have not been on a nice long hard ride since April thanks to a balding rear tyre. Finally getting a tyre fixed on saturday...Originally posted by johnblr View PostAre you not tempted to joining with us buddy

I think you have dropped in for the third time for ride with bangy guysOriginally posted by Aparajith View PostVery sorry for crashing - in. Is there space for a pimped R15??
There is a possibility that I might be there and so would try to join in, if I reach Bangalore before ur starting time. Will update details here!
Since am at office and images are blocked, I cannot see the image on the first post by SriKeerthi. Can someone update the details in the subsequent posts on the first page? Probably Pranay, John or SriKeerthi???
P.S: I have Praful and Pranay's numbers. Will update my status to them accordingly!!

but never made to any 1
...try this time

No offence taken mate..!! I havent been to either of the places but ppl tell me the Mysore route is ok. I just happened to see pics of both places and the waterfalls look more appealing.Originally posted by tibby View PostI have been to this place.. It was quite nice when I had last gone 8 months ago.. Its said to be at its splendour right now, thanks to heavy rains in the areas around..
Hadn't been there through the Mysore Road route.. Had taken the Kanakpura Road route, & it was a real pain.. Plus, its quite a narrow road (1+1 laner most of the time), so I don't think it'll be recommended for us, considering the no. of bikes we are foreseeing to participate in the ride..
The place is very nice, but I think the Krishnagiri dam option scores over. mainly due to better roads..
PS: No offence meant to your suggestion bro! Just a comparo..
In any case, I will be more than happy to follow the leader. Destinations are just breaks that you take between rides
Hope to have a good turn out...
OT: Great job done by the guys who took the DD Hills ride video. Appreciate the effort, especially the part where the whole group is taking a U-turn is really amazing...A ship is safe in harbor, but that's not what ships are for...

Besides, there will be at least 2 different cultural events being held there on that day. It'll be crowded alright. That way, Krishnagiri seems better. But I did see a photo of Shivanasamudra/Gaganchukki Falls in the paper yesterday, and it looked beautiful."Tough times never last, but tough people do." - Robert Schuller
