I think that the new riders rode very well for their first long ride. Very impressive stuff indeed and the formation was perfect throughout. But for a couple of riders who were intent on riding ahead separately and not maintaining the group's speed.

Thanks guys. Hope to do it again sometime. Ajay.
    @ Ajay sir..[stormtrooper]
i think i was on faster side and sometimes went ahead of the group with manju and others...Also it was getting late...so ripped a bit
from next trip i would surely ride with the group for the whole trip.....

    • A Ride to Remember

It was my first ride too with xBhp...
And unarguably it was one of THE BEST ride I've ever had.
I use the word THE BEST because I've never had a bike trip with such kinda discipline, participation, enthusiasm and support.
It was really organized very well. All credit for organization goes to John.
Also credit goes to Sunil sir, Ajay Sir and Akhil (Rossiter) for leading us all the way. Without you guys we wouldn't have had such a disciplined and safe trip.
Also thanks to Sunil sir for sponsoring the flags.
If i'm not wrong, it was Avin who sponsored the flags to pin on our jackets. Thanks to you too dude.
And thanks to Akhil for letting me sit on THE ONE and take pics. I've taken many photos on it. It was really a dream come true for me. Just admired the way you were riding it. Loved it more when you vroomed it...
Saj, awesome poetry. That explains the whole trip. Good One.
Thanks to all fellow riders for being in sync and riding.
And ofcourse, the offroading at the broken bride was one of the most adventurous thing that happened on the trip. Can't forget it too.
My friend Ashwin (ashi.cruz62) had night shift that day. So we couldn't join you guys for the LUNNER. Hope we'll have LUNNER together some other time.
Tibby, i've uploaded the pics which you had asked for (You on the R1). You can get it from there.
Just felt bad for the TVS Flame rider who slipped when cornering. Thankfully nothing happened.
Also heard that Ashwin had hit a buffalo. I dunno wats the exact story. I was way ahead of him that time.
Just waiting for some more pics and videos which dragonrider had taken. Would love to see those cornering videos.
Only one thing which i felt missing was some stunting stuffs. Had expected to see some, but didn't happen.

But All in All, it was a great trip and an unforgettable one.
Would love to ride again with all you guys. Will make it to the next ride as well.

P.S : @ akhil sir , nice pics and still remember very clearly the way you blasted straight past us near the dam and on the highway , like tibby said at the time , we didn't see you , just heard you .
Yeah i was right behind the apache guys who hit the calf (they may not even have hit the calf, at my angle it looked like a lot of panic braking and then they took a spill).

yeah , quite possible ... I missed the calf by a few inches and then they fell ... I expected it to happen , so was watching my RVM''s and tibby in front of me honked for the guys infront to stop, but they carried on , but it was crazy what these people do for money ... I mean 10 grand , that's no joke ... Just because we ride bikes and have expensive gear doesn't mean that we have that much money to throw around ... , but the rest of the ride was beautiful and more than made up for the mishaps that occured ...

What we should have done is gotten the hell out of there as soon as they were deemed to be alright. People will do anything for money man, what do they think, that there is a ATM magically out there or something??

So its time we actually think in terms of these lines and actually really be a well organized group prepared for any situation thrown at us.
We were watched every second. People stopped in their tracks to let us pass. they gawked in awe. they stopped whatever they were doing and and came road side. Children cheered us on. The flags on our bikes made us even more special. People were taking our snaps, videos , we really had everything going for us. The sheer number made us a crazy crowd magnet.
Those check post guys just let us go due to our sheer number.
We were a mob for some , showoffs for others, but for those who really knew, we were bikers, we were the real deal.
                        +1. very true dude.
and ya children were just making me happy. i would wave, salute n flash lights whenever i went past them

the ride from that dhaba to my home was a speed run.

since i was a little behind, i didn't see the incident happening. but one thing is clear by this and my previous experience that no one is concerned about the guy who fell, no one is concerned about the injuries, the calf in this case or any other thing. all they are interested is in money and only money! right avin?
