So its time we actually think in terms of these lines and actually really be a well organized group prepared for any situation thrown at us.
We were watched every second. People stopped in their tracks to let us pass. they gawked in awe. they stopped whatever they were doing and and came road side. Children cheered us on. The flags on our bikes made us even more special. People were taking our snaps, videos , we really had everything going for us. The sheer number made us a crazy crowd magnet.
Those check post guys just let us go due to our sheer number.
We were a mob for some , showoffs for others, but for those who really knew, we were bikers, we were the real deal.
i saw two guys in a ford ikon filming us.they went on till the lead slowed down, let everyone go n again came with us to shoot.
and not to forget so many papparazi's in the A2B stop.

The most touching was the children waving and saluting at us. The people at the A2 travel plaza where we had breakfast went crazy! everyone was taking pictures. I know a lot of the girls/women were impressed . One of the crazy scenes was when we were on teh way to the toll plaza and the passenger in the car next to our convoy pulled out his DSLR and started shooting. That incident in the village is something i felt we could have avoided...but hey it happens! This is india, lol.

        • ^^ You , goldew and some others took off while me and tibby honked for you guys to stop, but one of the apache riders who was with a pillion hit a calf and fell down and the villagers all gathered up and started demanding money (10k) , but our very own johnny and ajay sir handled the situation and thankfully no injuries ... brought back certain forgettable memories for avin ...

P.S : @ akhil sir , nice pics and still remember very clearly the way you blasted straight past us near the dam and on the highway , like tibby said at the time , we didn't see you , just heard you .

hope they were some reporters or some thing ,then we will then make it to a automag or the papers..

Me too , waved at the children as an when they came along , it was so nice to see their happy and surprised faces when they saw so many bikes in formation going past ... It gave me an enormous sense of pride towards the country and an energy to ride a lifetime also a great satisfaction to know that we were able to put a smile on their face ...

P.S : I heard someone talking about publishing the event ... dunno who though ...

                        • Ive guessed as to what 'The LUNNER' is. Please do correct me if im mistaken:
                          Lunch + Dinner = LUNNER

You guys went off-road in surroundings that justify the name-tag. The 5 of us who left after the A2B stop went offroading on Hosur road.
My bike looks like its waded through a river of muck. No photos of the 'terrain' we encountered.
Will post pics of my bike, post-excursion, if possible.

Was a great R2G overall. Got to see Jasir, Ajay sir, Sunil sir and Akhil after a very long time. If it weren't for the delays, all the starters would have been in the damn-dam 'mugshot' ()
I'm normally not a praying man, but if you're up there, please save me Superman.
