You showed your another set of skill on above wordsOriginally posted by saj View Postawsome ride..
reached home at 8.30pm.
it was indeed the independence day ride!
it was just me and my bike.
from a lil' early to dawn to a lil' late after twilight.
free from the work, free from the play,
it was just me with my bike for the whole day.
riding through the city, riding through the highways,
riding through the twisties or anything that came my way.
no traffic did stop, no slushy roads had its luck,
no distance seemed too far,
even the broken bridge had to face bad luck.
i was glad to be with the nature,
and the friends who were riding along,
along with the riders of the group,
with the sun, wind, clouds and what not and what all.
it was a adventure to mention,
just one of its kind,
felt like a ride to heaven,
and everyone watching us move,
and we watched their face filled with amusement and surprise.
the gods had played their game,
the time was at stand still,
didnt notice the sun god move.
the nature looked so beautiful,
the trees, shrubs, mountain and all,
the fields on either side, and the farmers looking at us,
and their children and grandchildren,
constantly cheering us.
the path we travelled had a new surprise at every turn,
and some insidents did happen,
but nothing had stopped us.
started from home and came back home again,
with a plesent experience in between,
that makes me smile over and over again.
some things come only once in a life time,
this was one of them.
still wondering if it had really happened,
or was it just a dream,
thanks everyone. i love to ride even more after this experience, i am short of words!!!

A pleasure riding in formation with so many bikes and how can one forget all that innocent kids waving at us and the smile that those bikes bought on thier face...

Kudos to everyone for making it the biggest G2G of Bangalore xBhp and my best one so far....Hammer the racetrack. Pace yourself on the street.

.... proper formation ride for such a huge no. of riders is a task very well done..... and Indian Flags hanging on the bikes shows a true patriotism,...great guys great keep it up

What a ride it was!!!
My first R2G, never expected to have so much of fun.......just couldn't find a word to describe the feeling!!!!!!
First of all thanks to the organizers (John, Sunil sir) the arrangements were really good & thanks to all who attended I didn't see many people breaking the formation.
Got to know the faces behind the id's & talk with few more guys....though i returned back (with Santoosh,Sundar,Vijith & Tejesh) after breakfast, thanks to the hectic & sleepless week at work.....my body was crying for rest. During the ride back was hearing some noise from the bike, Santosh helped to diagnose it when we stopped before Housr....thanks Santa, you were correct it is the chain/sprocket....will PM you regarding this later.
and yes i got to see Phoar in action, we were getting the flags tied to the bikes in the morning & when Akhil rode in ahhh.....the sound of an inline 4 (the first time i got to hear/see a R1 in flesh) i was awestruck....one bad part was i didn't get to see Phoar/Akhil in action on the highway.....may be some other time.
Special thanks to Ajay (stormtrooper) who was leading the group which i was in, he didn't want the guy in the gladiator(Me
) to struggle & he kept the speed tad bit low than what the other groups did....
The ride was a very good experience.....was nice meeting you all, waiting eagerly to meet all u guys!!!!!!
Almost forgot, got to meet the guy who got Leh'd despite of injuring his leg Rocky (a.k.a Ashwin).
@Ashwin, Noticed when you were leaving the meeting point in silkboard you are still not able to fold your leg completely...take care of your health...

Looks like you guys had good fun! Nice pictures there.
Sorry, I had to leave you guys early in the trip. I was heading on a round trip to kerala i.e. Salem -Pallakad - Thrishur -Guruvayoor - back to Pallakad - Ottapalam - Calicut - Wyanad - Mysore - Bangalore. I was worried about the kind of average speeds we were doing which is inevitable with a huge group. The traffic jam ensured that I made up my mind to take off.
I made it back home after 1130kms today morning at 2.30 AM. A short ride report will follow in the Xbhp Bangalore thread.sigpic
