I am eager to come for this but there is a problem....I dont know how long that ride will be but I know I can drive my Baby XCD125....but will that bike can stretch itself for such a ride?? That's the question??
I am very eager to come so do guide me about this....
Note-One more xBhp'ian(rides Gladiator) is studying in Jaipur...was there yesterday...he also wants to come but due to his studies and distance cant attend the G2Gs...
@Jasmeet aka Sikhbiker: Seriously Bro never enjoyed going Karol Bagh but yesterday hell lot of fun...will go once again for tire change or if i can then Jacket too.
@Prateek : Buddy what i told you in G2G it's not about the bike on mountains its about the ability of a rider that he can ride that machine with ease there are many riders in Xbhp who rides 125's and do tours too and you got your answer from DCS bhai who is fully-fledged riderRide Safe & Ride Long-->

carry the original with you while you out on touring, but when u riding in the Noida or Delhi if your attestation is a valid one then it should work.Originally posted by zayn View Postlike a surprise test which we give in school...

All- Do carry original papers while touring okie, though photocopies and attestation are good but still always keep the originals with you.

sarab

Being the fact that many people dont know, but this guy has ridden much more than to be called a newbie and He did Delhi - Mumbai on his bike as well.
Prateek: you can definatetly join in yaar, Also do not under estimate the bike, XCD is far better than many more bikes but still people consider it a low end bike.Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostMates, this will be my first tour and that too with you all (if allowed). Any bike can do a tour, the only thing is that if at any point of time you feel the person leading is going fast, you should ask him to slow down, may be riding constantly at 80-90kmph will not be possible for you.
We as a group of 7-8 people when went to lansdowne, rode at around 50kmph as an Average speed.

Sir My two cents to it.Originally posted by Aryan View Post@All who have applied here: I hope you guys have your documents in order, viz.,

* ATTESTED XEROX will not work outside delhi.
* PUC made outside delhi is valid for 6months and in Delhi's it is for 3 months! (P.S: That it should be in the valid. )
That's add on!! Good Job!Originally posted by prateek2210 View PostI have all these.....Even carry the manual with me too...

Well, you never know, there can be a surprise check of RC, license, insurance, PUC.Originally posted by zayn View Postlike a surprise test which we give in school...
We actually had a surprise check in the past. So be prepared for it.

All- Do carry original papers while touring okie, though photocopies and attestation are good but still always keep the originals with you.Originals are always preferred-be it on highways or in cities.bhai is attested xerox works or have to take original every where.
you can land up in unnecessary trouble without the originals.
Even Attested copies won't be of any help.
PUC, RC, License-ORIGINAL
Insurance-photocopy will do.
For further information, ask any traffic policemen for specific info.its all about CC...

Bro traffic policeman man in delhi told me what all a 2 wheeler rider should have.He said rider can also keep valid attested xerox. If i don't want to keep original document for many reasons.Originally posted by rohitmundra View PostWell, you never know, there can be a surprise check of RC, license, insurance, PUC.

+ i don't know about the highways but as far as i know highway link different states so attested documents wont work as Shivanshu bhai said had to take original documents...

@Zayn: Yes, you need to keep your documents in ORIGINAL while riding out of Delhi/ NCR and I sure expect guys who would be joining in on this ride to keep their documents in valid and original. Any failure to do so, and the perpetrator would be asked to go back home! No two ways about it.
As for the "surprise" check, yes, it has happened in the past and believe you me, it very well can and will happen in the future.:)

The reason I suggested for the originals : If anyone gets caught for violation of traffic, then either the police will challan you in cash or take your RC/license which needs to be settled in the court.Originally posted by zayn View PostBro traffic policeman man in delhi told me what all a 2 wheeler rider should have.He said rider can also keep valid attested xerox. If i don't want to keep original document for many reasons.

and some police men do not have the authority to challan in the form of cash(impound only RC/license)
So, if you just have a xerox attested version, what you gonna do then?
its all about CC...
