I took my bike instead of car last weekend, thinking the same. The heat is unbearable-my nose bled after coming back from Alankrita Resorts with my wife!

he took additional 500 for my R15 registration. I gave him blindly at that time.

for NoC..I think permission shall be taken from local police station, then following paper work.

That guy inhales money! he took Rs800 for registration & gave me the RC card after one month, I had been moving with the e-seva bills as my RC card

@Ravi, since you are already away from Hyderabad, paying a few hundered rupees more shouldn't be a problem if the guy can get the job done properly. It costs you much more to make rounds if the work is not done.

Dont think RTA would give him a NOC until the loan is cleared right?

The financer needs to give a NOC first. Need not clear the loan but there would be some rules for them too.

Anna as per VRL logisitics, they wud charge 2800 for transportation, also the guy said it takes max 15days, but the bike can be taken to Mangalore once the process is initiated as there wont be any physical verification of the bike.
Googled and found that there would be another form which needs to be signed by the finance company.

Yes the pillion rule is applicable for bpth Sec'bad and Hyd'bad. I did a quick ride to Medak on Sunday...made a visit to church and under the hot sun in the noon climbed up the fort. heat was bombarding and one of the fellow riders had a sn stroke . Today I might be riding to Yadgirigutta, Surendrapuri and Bongir fort and maybe Warangal too with Nikhpaul and a friend of mine.

I got the registration done myself for my new bike. Took the pain to stand in que etc....took me about 3 hours but the whole job was done exactly for 385rs for the R15 .

Thats right. Pillion rule is not applicable for ladies and kids. The cops are taking the pillion rule way too seriously at least near jub hills, hi tec city area.

If only "Funsukh wangdu" was a member of Xbhp he could have invented an AC helmet for us , jokes apart the heat is unbearable for the past few days , am forced to drive around in my car most time and getting stuck in the traffic here

Near my place is much cooler than the City anytime. I always found 2 to 4 degrees lower temp here. But I am feeling the heat so much that am unable to sleep at night. It is about 35 degrees centigrade inside the house at night. Heck!

We need to ride off to ooty. Anyone game?
