had an awesome ride with Vinu and atul today,..did about 250odd kms,... sun was no prob, the biking spirit kept us going,.. only thing that stopped us was fuel,.. we were gonna head off to warangal but DAMN FUEL!!! The beasts were Yamaha YZF R15(Vinu), Royal Enfield-1991(atul) and HH passion +(me)... during the ride wanted to do a speed test on the passion so i told vinu to be beside me as i pump the passion, this was we got a reading of 97-98kmph on the R15 speedo,.. maybe could've gone more but ran outta road :|,.. pics will come up soon.. The enfield surely showed that it owns the highways,.. we were averaging around 80-90kmph,.. we trecked up the Bhongir fort(in the heat)... lol was all worth it

ppl !! i need some directions and places close to hyd.. (min 100kms )..
i want to complete my ride in(never really followed it anyway,but still..) and get the service done as i'm plannin a road trip to vizag..!! did about 1.3 k kms on my 220f..
wat abt some hills(ananthagiri i guess) some of u guy's went??
how far? wat route? road condition? and wat about bhongir ?? guy's who all went,info wanted..

and one thing,vizag and vishakapatnam okkate kada?? cause in google map's destination vizag is nearer than destination vishakapatnam ??

Just to add to the above, the following were the places included in the ride...YADAGIRIGUTTA - Main temple of Sri Laxmi Narasimhaswamy
SURENDRAPURI - Panchamukha Hanuman Temple & mythological Museum
BHONGIR FORT - Histroical Fort built in 11 Centuary
KOLANPAKA - World famous Jain Temple 2000 year old

Climbing up the fort under the sun was not an easy task at all. Heat did play it tantrums throghout but we did manage to keep things under wraps

Found a dried up lake somewhere on the way and it was bloddy awsome to ride on it./...couple of pics were clicked in there...kinda resemble a barren desert land

Anathagiri hills would be a nice little ride. We did it about couple of months back. There is nothing much to do there, and the ghat section road is for hardly couple of kmz (has some great twisties though). Bhongir, u can do the above mentioned places along with the fort. Awsome road and pretty neat conditions. Keep in mind the Heat though.

If you are looking for a ride, we might be riding to either Warangal - 1000 pillar teple or Bidar...both are about 150 odd kms from Hyd, one way. Let me know if you want to join. Cheers and peace !!

Oh, it is like Vizag is the city. it is nearer because the limits are bigger. Visakhapatnam is the town inside so the limits are smaller and hence farther from here. Waltair is still inside that so it is even farther. (if all this sounds any logical to anyone!!!)

Stop bothering yourself about the name and ride on.

I think everyone must be having stickers by now.
Bungee cords/balaclava/city riding gloves are a must have for all, available for cheap at ProBiker store. He has an amazing collection of Cross lids too, all price ranges.
Now comes the tempting part-the Vega/LS2 which are sold here for Rs.3.8K&4.5K are just about~3K over there.
But I didn't mention all those things thinking how will my little sister carry so much! Stuff like gloves etc.are easy to carry though.

So please add your names&requirements to this list:

Anatagiri is like 70 odd kms from hyderabad. How about a quick to and fro ride this sat/sun? I can give you company but in double-digit speeds.

Does anyone use SatGuide/SatNav device? or Anyone you know have it?

Just need one folder of data from that memory card. I got my phone working as a GPS navigator free of cost but my maps are 1yr old (not bad at all) but would like to have the new ones... if someone can help.

@Sarvajit, there's more to get from Pune. Light & small things of course. Stock would come around 27-28th of this month. Will let you know then.
