Our ride went for toss mid way. After 120-130 kms from Hyderabad , roads are in worst shape. Its one way for a long distance. Don't know whether it was bad roads or bad quality of Mag Wheels or our bad luck , my friend's FZ rear mag wheel flew into pieces (attached the pic) . We spent around 3 hours searching for the rear mag wheel in and around Nizamabad. Went even further to Armur but couldn't get it anyway . Finally had to abandon the trip and arrange for transport for the bike .Originally posted by onlinesatish View Post

sorry to hear abt that but if u luk some posts back the same happened to my FZ rim ( a bend) on a trip to Medak with fellow Xbhp members, I had to ride from medak to hyd on a flat tyre.... I think the new high profile tyre 140-70 available at yamaha svc are a solution to this problem as they say( I doubt it)I'd rather be fast than invisible!!!!!

Oops - sad to see another FZ mag giving way on a g2g. Looks like mags/tyre weren't really designed keeping our Road conditions in mind. Porbably there is only so much those mags could take. Is the tyre damaged too?Originally posted by Juris View PostOur ride went for toss mid way. After 120-130 kms from Hyderabad , roads are in worst shape. Its one way for a long distance. Indeed an Amazing Guess!!!Originally posted by riazmomin View PostLOL!!! I know..its just the overflow at the Hussain Sagar towards Ashok nagar side.

Well before you say its water overflowing from Kapra Lake I better post my log
Me, Shashi, Riaz planned for srisailam ride on 5th September but as even Ravi&Shabbar wanted to join the ride if it is next sunday we postponed the plan...
Meanwhile we planned to ride to Pocharam lake. I got a wake up call from Shashi at 5:00am.. we called Riaz but did not get any response... Taking the opportunity to sleep for one more hour, I said Shashi that we will start by 7AM and by that time even Riaz may wake up
We called up Riaz once again before starting but did not get any response so two of us started to Pocharam by 7:15AM
First stop was at Narsapur Lake which was overflowing and almost came till the road...
Shashi's junior track monster had a tough time to ride the off road on the wet muddy track till the lake
After a lot of pushing we successfully came back to road with the R15..
The narsapur road was recently redone and was just amazing...
Cornering on this road was like heaven...
However we could not take more aggressive corners as the road was a bit wet due to rain...
While we were 4 kms before Medak I observed some mini waterfall likeplace which we could view from the road.. Getting curious we tried to find out a way to go there.. After trying 3 to 4 ways we could finally reach the place...
It was a heavy water flow between the rocks totally untouched by stupid public/visitors and totally free from polythene covers
the place was excellent and scenic with a lot of breeze
We spent some time there and headed towards Pocharam...
Pocharam wild life sanctuary was very very dense and totally green... (Could not take any pics as it was slightly raining then)
We reached Pocharam reservoir after riding through the dense pocharam wildlife sanctuary...
The lake was very very silent and 2ft left for overflow...
Did not find the place much interesting and started to go back...
We could find one more place while returning where we could park our bikes just by the lake side... Spent some time there and headed back to Medak...
Enroute we went inside the Forest department part sort of place where we were told that there is a safari route inside the jungle which we can go only if we have a car...
Reached Medak and had our long awaited breakfast and went back to our great discovery
Spent a lot of time enjoying the view and the breeze...
Seeing our bikes parked by the road side some people in taxis and autos started coming inside
Started back by around 1PM and we exchanged our bikes for a while...
After riding R15 for around 5 kms I returned it back to Shashi as I was afraid that I will not have any interest to ride the Karizma and we had almost 70 kms to cover

Reached home by around 3PM all drenched in rain....
What did we Miss: My 18-55mm kit lens which I could have used to click better landscapes
After coming back I called riaz to find out that he was confused with multiple alarms that he had kept for breaking his fast

Here are some of the pics...
The pics have been compressed to maximum extent and hence lack clarity
