Lol the same old story...... Arre its not actually a tsunami island..... Aplya matathi madhe tyala BHAT PADNE mhantat..... Local boatmen or guides call it tsunami island to fool the tourists. Anyway, you can go there by reaching deobag. Its not more than 10-12 kms from malvan city. You get boats from there. If you are going to stay in malvan then dont miss the early morning boat ride at deobag. Awesome experience, especially for a shutterbug like u. Call me for details ;-)

Inviting one and all for an exciting ride into twisted web of Varandha Ghat full of fog, waterfalls and greenery !!

Day and Date :- Saturday -- 1st September, 2012

Route :- Panvel-Vadkhal-Mahad-Shivtharghal-Bhor-Pune-Lonavala-Panvel

Total Distance :- Approx 450 km round trip

Meeting Point :- Opposite Shri Dutta Snacks Corner, Panvel @ 7am sharp

Things to lookout for :- Shivtharghal, Nira-Deoghar Dam, Bhatghar Dam and some really BAD ROADS !
