This was on zig wheels. Does anyone have any idea about hero and EBR 250 cc bike.

Will be riding to Kasara tomorrow morning with Mandar Vichare, just for breakfast, chit chat and then ride back home. Let us know if anyone wants to tag along. All the general rules of riding gears, documents and safe riding apply.

Meet up time and place: Tomorrow, 6.30am, Just after Majiwada flyover.

Thank you but tomorrow's ride has been postponed. I stay at Shivaji Park, Dadar and due to death of Balasaheb Thakrey roads here will be full of traffic for the entire day tomorrow. Heading out with bike would be an unnecessary risk. Hence postponed it to next weekend.

I'll be heading towards Igatpuri this Sunday, last weekend's ride which had to be postponed due to social/political scenarios. Mandar still isn't sure if he'll be able to join in for this weekend. He said he'll confirm it by tomorrow. Am anyways heading for the short ride on Sunday - solo or with group. If anyone has similar plan for Sunday, then let me know.

I need to be back before evening. So it'll be a short and quick breakfast ride. Will leave Dadar at around 6-6.30am.

Have a safe ride brother...the roads are good...!! Except the bridge near Shahpur...horrible huge potholes on that bridge...!!
I had been to Igatpuri(Ghoti) and Nashik on two consecutive weekends early this month for Night rides........and i remember banging my front suspension sooo hard on that pothole....so please beware...on the bridge...apart from that the road is superb..!!

There is this place just before Kasara Ghat while moving towards nashik...I suppose Hotel Sai Plaza...its a small restaurant...good food...!!.......then you move towards Kasara ghat....amazing curves.....some very tight ones...!! Its fun...take care of the Trailers out there...!

Then there is this by pass that will take you towards Shirdi ...called the Ghoti By pass.....i would suggest you to take that by pass....its is a dream road to ride on...its a single lane way...but its always empty...the road is just straight and smooth for kilometres together....with an amazing view....On that road also there is this Dhaba...i dont remember tthe name...Mama Cha Dhaba.....something like that....yuc can see Wind mills on the opposite side.....superb place to click pics....i suppose that can be your end point....you can go still further...coz the road is amazing...you will reach a dead end from where if you take a right you go straight to shirdi....:-)...!! Il post pics of the place in the evening ones im home from office...you will love it..!!

Now wil coming there is this Hotel after you cross the kasara ghat...Hotl Highway...again a nice place to hog....and then from there ride straight towards Mumbai......Beware again on the Shahpur Bridge.....huge Pothole...on both sides...!!:-)

This was clicked last to last week....this place is off ghoti road...a verrry remote village....this narrow wobbly and twisty roads goes towards the famous trekking ranges of Alang,Malang and Tulang...!!!

& the small peaks you see in the photo (there are 2 of them) are called as Navara-Baiko (husband & wife) by locals.

Thats correct.......I along with my trekking group "Uth Suth trekkers" have trekked the whole alang , malang and tulang ranges in 3days...!! It was an amazing experience.....Also was part of the Alang-Unexplored- where our group hade trekked the alang via an unknown route...with lots of rock climbing and rappelling...:-) superb ranges to trek!!!

Hey sure brother....i along with my Riding group "RoadRunners" ride to nashik and its outskirts a lot of time...but we always land up missing our decided route..:-P..and it would be great if a local resident joins in for the ride....!! will let you know when we ride next...!!
Prolly il be riding to Ghoti section once more...ive heard there is this "Jatayau Temple"...the only temple of a bird in India.....Do you know its exactt location???
