Help Please

I have given my XCD 135 (12,450 km ODO) to reddy for servicing ... as suspected, the clutch plates have gone kaput and I need to replace them .... any idea how much would it cost to do so?? ...... also he said since clutch plates are being changed, even oil filter (which I changed in my last service itself) and engine oil (change 1100 km ago) have to be changed along with some minor parts .... he has quoted 1.8k (may rise) total including servicing and oil !

Mumbai riders - How many are in for the 12th ride to BWM Cafe?

Let us all abandon Mumbai tradition and be at Panvel McDonalds BEFORE time

As I am the oldest, fattest and possibly the fastest among you guys (at running ) I will be leading the group along with Sunny and Sandeep. If we have enough people then we will go in 3 groups...otherwise just 2. This will be decided at McDonalds.

All riders to wear as much gear as possible, there may be planned/unplanned media coverage and we want to distinguish ourselves. Minimum Helmet + Gloves but if you've got the full gamut...now is your chance to flaunt it.

The main idea is to meet and greet and not to show off our riding/cornering abilities so lets just go there, chill out and come back all in one piece.

All valid documents to be presented. Please check each other's license/insurance/registration. We don't need any panga with mama's en-route to ruin the fun.

When: December 12th
Time: 7:30am (earlier for the Mumbai guys so we can sort ourselves out, grab a bite if necessary and still be on time for Sunny/Sandeep)
Where: Panvel McDonalds

All are welcome...please spread the word and lets do this Mumai ishtyle!



Some advice:

1. It is quite cold in the mornings so plan accordingly
2. We may be standing around for a while so while you are at McDs please get something to eat/drink
3. Please tank-up the previous evening and get your tire pressures checked
4. There will be traffic leading up to Lonavala - we will stay in formation and not try to ride between trucks/cars etc. It may be slower but it is safer to stick together
5. In the Ghat section before Lonavala please ride sensibly and don't crash into other riders/the ground.

Guys one more advice from personal experience.. I went with few of Team-BHP gang for ride on last to last Sunday till Kamat. Started around same time and got caught in fog for almost hour or so after Panvel.

I am sure many of you must have experienced the same but some1 new I would suggest no point riding further without proper riding gear (Including face mask)

considering its REDDY i guess its pretty normal,bike servicing nowadays has become costlier than my car service.Btw no need to change the oil filter considering u had changed it recently.You will have to change the engine oil as the clutch plates are being changed.Its mandate.
