Meeting Time: 5:00am - 5:15am
Moveout Time: 5:30 "Sharp"

Rules

1. Full Face Helmets for both rider & pillion
2. All bike papers upto date (PUC, Insurance & License)
3. Single row formation riding (as formation decided)
4. Under no circumstances the formation is to be broken.
5. Speeds Upto 80kmph after reaching Kolaghat but before that 60kmph.
6. Distance maintained between each bike while riding is 3 bikes.
7. No overtaking unless an emergency. "Only Gibran & Dr.Vivek can do that"
8. Everyone is going to watch out for the person riding behind him.
9. Low beam headlights will be on at all times.
10. While taking any type of turn indicators will be used without compromise.
11. Continuous Pressing of the horn will mean "emergency"

The GRAND G2G would be really a memorable meet because of you guys only, no individual is important here, it is your passion for biking and brotherhood which is most important. I am honoured to become a part of xBhp.

Hey Gibbrain (bikemanic) I appreciate your Planning and Plotting for the raid. But I dont think it is Advisable for you Take lead possession when you are on Drag ( I mean From Tail) swapping back and forth is not safe and We need to have Fixed Pilot on Front if not an alternate Co-pilot right behind him... constant Changing of Pilots in between raids will lead to Confusions.

As for as Rules Goes my addition would be
12. everybody Need to have both of their RVM(rear View Mirror) at least one for sake of fellow raider behind you..

Correction on Rule No 3.
Rather than Single file formation. On highways Staggered Formation would be better. Single file formations can be applied when we enter city or Twisties..

@srikanth staggered formation will be better but will take as much space as 2 lane riding and besides will be harder to maintain when vehicles pass us. as for me taking the lead i guess ur right that will be work for me too, so i was thinking if you could take the no 2 spot permanently that would keep me relaxed. Is that ok with you ?

Sheelpriye.........what bike do you ride-thats so tour undedicated?? I really want to meet you,we have a north bengal+sikkim ride in our minds this year only,lets see if we can ride together to the mountains. Actually we want to complete Bengal before moving onto the rest of India......thats our thought.Its good to know that you find a 700kms in a day boring and that too on a tour undedicated bike !!!!

I ride a R15, had been to NH 34 today for just ~100kms in a ABS/Airbag equipped car and the shenanigan by WBSTC buses makes you believe in God.

NH 34 is a straight road with very poor traffic, hence I am apprehensive, though have done 550kms(my home in cal to my place here) in ~8 hours during run-in.

they ride like crap.............I had to really smoke one of them in order to get clear of it !!!!I totally agree with you......from then on,apart from my Praises to God,I believe in my bike too

Hey buddy, I would Definitely Love to take on the Co-Pilot Position. But I would prefer a raider to be in that place, who is pretty much Aware of the Geographic conditions, Directions and Road Conditions. As you all know I'm from down South(Banglore) I've Never Rode on these Roads, I' don't wanna Put the Whole team in Jeopardy, may be Next Time I'll lead...

Gibran I think you should take the Co-pilot Position, But my point of view was, You can not Swap between Drag and Lead.. you have to stick to one..

Gibran and Srikanth..............if SVJ moves away for photos,I will take the interim,to ride in the front.......since my speedo has got connected to my bike,I would be able to watch the speeds.I will take from the speed that would be maintained by SVJ....you can be confident about that.Ride in peace and joy my fellow bikers............I want all of you to enjoy.

12.Gibran- Permanent Free roam,meant for ensuring the group remains connected and in rhythm at all times.
After Bibek Jyotide and Doc Joins in,Doc would take second lead after SVJ honda,and Bibek Jyotide would assist further the rhythm of the group along with Gibran for the free roam.

Fellow Xbhpians..........please accept this format and take the respective responsibilities.This format has been thought out and decided after an onroad simulation,I being familiar with most of ours riding styles.So please cooperate and kindly accept this final positioning.We all want a harmonic and rhythmic ride,dont we ????

P.S.if Onwheels join in,bcoz he might not be able to resist the temptation of joining this ride despite all the works he has at his home,he would be doing the Trail along with Srikanth

Average cruise speed till Kharagpur would be 65kmph.During overtaking,it should be done in singles.The biker who overtakes at first is requested to make room for the next bike that would join in after overtake.
If the group gets detached during Overtake.........its the responsibility of the Free Roam to take the lead and assist in catching up or doing the overtake.
After Kharagpur......average cruise speed should be around 80-85kmph.
These speeds are meant for the safety of the group ,as there would be other vehicles on the road too............and bascically the 4 wheelers go above 100kmph,while the trucks with their huge sizes,lazes around at 60-70......it would be tricky,and hence the speed.NH6 is not as cool as the NH2.I had been there thrice since the Digha Mandarmoni ride....so trust me.
Next,while overtaking,no member should do Zigzag,use of indicators is a must.

Rest I would like to talk with SVJ tomorrow before the ride.
So lets Raid........

I can lead till Uluberia, but beyond that, I don't know the route. So Either Mach 50 or Bikemanic lead, I'll be in the 2nd or 3rd position. On 2+ lane highways, I can assist the leader.

And what do you guys mean by move away for pictures? I had a thing in mind, that I'll strap my camera on the back of my bike, and ride past all the guys in formation, recording video.

Or perhaps shoot ahead, stop, and take pictures, while the group passes by.

i am mostly ok with the formation & speeds just 3 people should be placed correctly. 1stly mehtab since we have never ridden with him on the highway and he's on a platina he should be in the middle inbetween 2 responsible riders. 2ndly doc should be right at the end with me because this is will ensure that the pack is intact and we both can be free roam. 3rdly Bibek Jyotide because since we have a camera man in the front so 1 at the end is needed.

so i suggest let all 4 do their job n things will be fine. 2 photographers (front & back) & 2 to take care of the pack.
