yes, lights on bikes are major issue. @drvmtm: please mention what are the mods you have done on your bike. do you have any plan for a long ride?

mods done are
1.smart coil rewinding to support more electrical s without raising the pressure on the engine.
2.regulator rectifier unit change to a bigger better full cycle one,the stock one is hopeless.
3.modification on bikes wiring to make it full dc.
4.headlight reflecter changed to ug 3 model to look better and better throw of light.
5.Phillips extream power 55/60 bulb on oem headlight dome for better light ,retaining all the stock abilities like low hi beam /pass laight etc.we can also use a 90/100 in this,but its better to change the reflector to a glass one or it will melt.
6.hid bulb 6000k Chinese make from kolkatta wellington debs shop,no warrenty mounted on a dcm toyota sealbeam housed on a rx 100 dome fixed on left crash guard.

as ritocbz has inform me that 1st week of may he is going to Chennai to see chris pfieffers event and come to kolkata 2nd week of may so guys lets plan a G2G. The same venue city center 2 and lets plan a short ride as the weather is getting a bit cool and the rain is coming so lets plan a ride before rain comes. I think what about the trip we plan but could not execute due to excess heat yes ---- burdwan - shantiniketan trip...

lets meet in cc2 on 2nd week of may there we can plan for the trip and also meet rito share his experiance and photo and also by this time on wheels will return from Delhi .
drvmtm:-pease try to come to kol at that time so that we can meet you also in the G2G and can discuss with you about the trip.

guys did u have noticed that in morning the whether is becoming awesome cool temp. best for ride and evening it is raining getting mad to go for a ride but there is one bad thing that is mud and it will change your bike's color

sunny....i would like to add a couple of things to the plan you are making for the Shantiniketan trip....i quite regularly visit Shantiniketan so i would like you guys to be exceptionally cautious(just to avoid any kind of mishaps)there are a huge number of 100cc superbikers ready to distract and disturb you guys...for this i would suggest you guys to ride short distances along with all the riders planing for the trip(as in sector V to CC2 a couple of times before the ride just to understand each others riding style)...see group riding is all about adjusting with the other fellow riders....ride a speed thats comfortable to everyone....be it 30kmph or 100kmph(provided everyone returns home safe n sound and in one piece ) i would always prefer enjoying the scenery as well as while riding....the road frm Bardhaman to Gushkara is simply heavenly...the road conditions r good with green paddy fields on both side of the road....its simply great....be cautious along the NH2 coz these days the traffic has simply worsened....one word for all of you guys ...be extremely cautious and enjoy the ride......

Thank you for such a cool idea i also think we should first ride together for a short ride and as we have less time in our hand so lets plan like this way we meet at city center 2 around 4.00-4.20pm and ride together till sec v azad hind and have evening snacks and return to cc2 or the mini bus stand near DLF building and after that plan for the trip in this way we will be able to understand the way we ride and can adjust between ourself

metalhead_ajplease give us more info like how much km it is (up-down) and though which route it will be good and the condition of road and please try to come to G2G
