Planning for a shot trip on 18th!

Guys, tomorrow, 18th (Sunday), I am planing to ride to the Bethuadahori Reserve Forest - which is very near to my house - approximately 115 kms from Barasat. I may also move further till Palasi - not yet decided. I'll make rest of the plan on the way. Now, roads are calling......... I have to move, any brothers wants to join me, please inform me till today midnight @ my mobile number: 9903323311.
I am planning to start the run on 18th @6:00 am, from colony more, Barasat(NH-34).

guys anyone interested can join us on 25 th ride as there is some change in plan.........we will move out asap in the morning around (4.30-5.00am max) so that we can reach there around or before 10.00am and in this way we can avoid the heat as I think after 10.00 it will be scorching heat, so heat issue is resolve and moreover to avoid excess stress as riding long adds excess stress on our bike as well as on our health we are planning to stay there and and later in the evening we can explore the place also as we got a free guide (ritocbz) . Next morning again we will get up early and move out from there again asap (4.30-5.00am sharp) so that we can reach to our home before 10.00am and also avoiding excess heat.I think it will be a nice G2G as well as nice tour..... we will meet doc in burdwan and with him we will move to shantiniketan and meet ritocbz...... soooo rito man some guest are coming to your place be ready man.....

onwheels :- don't forget to post the pics of today's ride....

mach50:- please provide update about the roads ,time and the place to meet in morning as I think dwaknishwar will be a good place and approx expence (petrol , night stay etc)

doc & rito please provide us info abt condition of roads and how much time it will take to reach there if we ride at speed of 70kmph and off course how much expence it will for over all.......

Since u r suggesting a night stay instead of a single day ride,in order to enjoy the place without any hassles.Let me tell you that the ride would have to be rescheduled on Saturday 24th..........and we return on Sunday.

About Night stay expense n stuff RitoCBZ is the right guy to find.

About the route and fuel issue I wud inform in due course.We have a week for guys to join in.Though confirmed guys for the trip as of now are only three:
1.Mach50
2.Onwheels
3.Sunny RTR

Ah 70kmph sounds cool,though if we get an emptier patch,hittin the ton wont be an issue.But still the rider and the bike feels best at around 70kmph while doin long trips........for any Indian bike on this side of 250cc.

Solo trip to bethuadahari - palasy - hazaarduari.

Here I go......
Guys, actually, I was very much frustrated with the work pressure even after March and decided on Saturday to hit the road once again.
I had made a plan to visit the Bethuadahari Reserve forest.

I woke up early in the morning on Sunday @5:00, had a nice bath, put my gears on and started the bike at 6:18. I took a snap of the mile meter.....


As I stay in Barasat it was my advantage to reach the NH - 34. I took the Barasat - Barrakpore road to reach the NH-34 (it took 5mins). The Sun was rising and a yellowish light was spread all over. It was a charm. It was green everywhere. I was bit afraid, as I found the dark cloud in the horizon- as I really hate riding in rain. As soon as I too my bike @60kmph, I was feeling cold. There was lots of trucks on the road, but they were driving in 40 to 45kmph mark - so it was not a problem for me to overtake them and go ahead. Even they were giving hand pass signal and they were sticking to their lane - so riding was quite easy and enjoyable.

The roads were really awesome - its smooth and calm..!!! Enjoyed the beauty of the roadside while riding at 75kmph mark.

After I reached the Bethuadahari Forest at 8:20 am, I have been told to keep my bike inside the premises of the forest office and explore the forest on foot. I really explored the dense part of the forest and spent almost 2 hours over there and took some snaps...............


Here I had to leave my bike for a while.....

At around 10:30, I decided to leave the forest and move towards to Palassy - The battle ground. I was expecting to see some good old archaeological stuff there. But I only found a small statue of Siraj-Ud-Dullah.




Then I was started thinking of moving further to Hazarduary in Murshidabad and finally did it.....

I came back to home at 4:50pm and it was a ride of 381km in total.
