Gibran bhai.......who is trailing ???....let Srikanth do a permanent Trail,Trail cant be carried out by people on free roam,it will be big responsibility then.

Put Sayan at number 8 trust me,he would be fine there,
Put Sourav at number 10 and then Srikanth at number 11.

One more thing,once Doc joins in,he should be among the first three riders,since he knows the way,precisely into Orissa.

I'm okay to lead, as long as one more rider (2 lanes or 2 riders in one lane) is there with me, to correct me in case I go wrong.

And guys, common hand signals would be (from pilot & co-pilot):
1) one single finger pointing (as in out! in cricket) one single file.
2) A fist means stop.
3) Both hands in the air would mean 2 files, in 2 lanes.

Tell me if its okay.

Also who's carrying a pillion? A pillion would be an asset. Especially for video recording.

@MACH50 i still think let the formation be as it is cause we need responsible riders in the middle too. as for the route i'm ok with any route taken but i too suggest NH6,NH5 route but it's 40km more.

@srikanth decide the pilot hand signals and will discuss it before we move out 2morrow morning and again at the 1st stop which is shere-panjab as decided.

@all one prob my PUC has failed n today is strike so could not get it done so i guess i need to conpromise on that.

@ Gibran- hehehe, even mine had failed. I did it last minute, at a Landsdowne pump, which was luckily conducting PUC tests.

Its ok with the PUC,but atleast bring your company backed PUC,that you got when you purchased the bike.

Latest update...........Sayan aka theguitarfreak is without a ride !!!! he maybe joining in as pillion,his cousin has somewhere else to go with the Fazer. !!!

Hi svjhonda, gibran, mach50, on wheels, and everyone else from Kolkata...

How are you doing? Lots of activity out here, and very impressive to say the least. Am happy for Kolkata xBhp, and all the credit goes to you guys who've been so instrumental in reviving the biking activity in our city.

All the very best to the whole bunch, for this upcoming interstate G2G, and I look forward to hearing how things go. Ride safe.

As an answer to svjhonda's question, I had ridden to Orissa in early June, '10.....and in my opinion, NH-6 and NH-60 seemed just about perfect, followed by NH-5 thereafter (My destination was Rushikulya at Ganjam, by the way). Superb roads right throughout (barring a few patches where they're working overtime to widen the roads), decent traffic, ample stop-over points, etc.

Meeting Place: Kala Mandir "HP Pump"
Meeting Time: 5:00am - 5:15am
Moveout Time: 5:30 "Sharp"

Rules

1. Full Face Helmets for both rider & pillion
2. All bike papers upto date (PUC, Insurance & License)
3. Single row formation riding (as formation decided)
4. Under no circumstances the formation is to be broken.
5. Speeds Upto 80kmph after reaching Kolaghat but before that 60kmph.
6. Distance maintained between each bike while riding is 3 bikes.
7. No overtaking unless an emergency. "Only Gibran & Dr.Vivek can do that"
8. Everyone is going to watch out for the person riding behind him.
9. Low beam headlights will be on at all times.
10. While taking any type of turn indicators will be used without compromise.
11. Continuous Pressing of the horn will mean "emergency"

Latest update..........
Two of the confirmed riders wont make it to the ride tomorrow,
1.sayan aka Guitarfreak:he is without a bike and he wont ride pillion.He would see us next time most probably with a R15.
2.Dr.Vivek aka Drvmtm:he is beaten down by a viral fever,hence it wont be advisable for him to ride a long distance in the condition of his health.

Onwheels still hasnt said No, he may or may not join in.

Bibekjyotide's status is awaiting update,if he comes we will meet him at the junction of bombay road after crossing the vidyasagar setu.

Rest of the group remains intact.
